First of all, let's get one thing straight: this portable chair is not the size of a standard, 16.9 ounce water bottle. I'm sure this is the size most folks have in mind when considering purchasing this chair, and the people at CLIQ are more interested in appealing to people's assumptions for marketing purposes than just telling the truth. No, it's more like the size of a 1 liter bottle of SmartWater or Voss, which is double the size of what most people would guess. It also weighs more, clocking in at a smidge under four pounds. Second, this thing is not easy to put together, nor can it be assembled in just five seconds (unless, I guess, you're the person who designed it, or are a professional weight-lifter - I am neither). The legs on my chair do not slide out easily and have to be wrenched out hard and fast to ensure the buttons click fully into the housing. The two extra legs that hold the back of the chair up were the hardest. One in particular wouldn't budge past an inch. There is a loop of ribbon sewed poorly on each of the four corners of the chair that is supposed to be used to yank the legs out more easily. I found this out through trial and error, because it's not listed in the ever-too-brief instructions - and one of them ripped off without much force. Guess I won't be able to pull that piece out ever again. I naturally assumed that such a pricey item would come with a bag for easy carrying, or at least a strap to grab on to. Nope! CLIQ wants us naïve customers to purchase a separate bag to hold 2, 4,or 6 chairs, starting at $19.99, instead. Well, dear manufacturers, I only have and need ONE CHAIR. Now, I'll have to find an alternative solution on my own to drag this thing around, since its long,cylindrical shape makes it feel heavy if I juste tote it around in one hand. The good stuff - and there is some: the chair is pretty solid once properly assembled. It's fairly comfortable, although the ridge at the top of the chair dug into my mid-back somewhat and there is no lumbar support. The chair stays put and doesn't shift when I lean to the side or bend forward, and unless I really tried, leaning backwards won't tip it over. I used it on a flat surface, but I'm not sure it would hold its own on sand or rocky areas. Waiting in line for a COVID-19 vaccination or drinking beer at the campsite are fine, however.

This is a great little folding chair. It is very sturdy and easy to set up and fold. I am disappointed with the marketing material saying it is the size of a water bottle. They also show it in pictures and reviews with bicycles. This implied that it would fit in a standard bicycle water bottle holder. Alas, this is not true. It is too wide to fit in a standard bottle holder. I will have to buy an oversize holder or add a rack to my bike to carry it. The chair weighs over 3 pounds, so I don't want to carry it on my back in a backpack. I do intend to keep it since it is very good and met 80% of my requirements. It is small, easy to carry, sturdy, and comfortable. It just doesn't fit on my bike the way the marketing materials implied.

It’s great to keep in the car and easy to use with setting up. A little unstable to sit in better for a smaller person. My daughter absolutely loves it but for adults a little more challenging but a decent compromise considering how compact and convenient.

I bought this to take along on bike trips. It fits in my bike basket perfectly, and it's really quick and easy to set up and take down. I like that you don't have to attach the seat to the frame. The main negatives are the cost and the weight. The chair is so expensive, I would like to buy more of them, but just can't bring myself to spend the money. The chair is pretty hefty (and not as small as you expect), but still very compact. It's a comfy and compact chair for taking a break on a bike ride or on a jaunt to the park.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this chair March 6 of last year to bring with me on long lectures. It’s small enough to travel with & I can take it out for hours of lectures to sit on since I have chronic low back pain. I’ve used this chair maybe 3 times the most. I just leave it open in my bedroom for the next trip. Now it’s July 4 2023 & as I was about to put away, this piece came off. I weigh 107 lbs, there’s no reason for it to break. I was going to buy one for my son, but $100 for a camping chair that was lightly used? NO just NO. UPDATE I reached out to the company & told them how my chair foot pad broke within months of barely using (also I’m a very petite adult so weight was not the issue). Customer service was fabulous, they were quick to make me happy. They quickly sent out new foot pads free of charge. Hopefully this chair & foot pads will last many years.

Bought my chair for a river trip I was going on. Wanted something compact because space is limited but wanted something sturdy. This chair fit the bit. I just came back and the chair was perfect. While I wouldn't say the chair folds up as small as an umbrella, it is quite small but opens up big. I felt fully supported while sitting at campsites each night. It is easy open up but does take a little bit of strength to do so. Make sure you follow the directions so you have it fully open. At first I didn't fully extend the two bottom supports and ended up sitting low and on the center support. Once all supports were fully extended, I was sitting only just slightly below a regular portable chair. I only wish it came with a carry bag.

Over the years I have purchase numerous camping chairs of different form factors and folding mechanisms, the Cliq chair is the one I like the most! The main reason is there's no installation or assembly of parts, all the parts are already attached, you just need to unfold the chair and extend the support bars, easy and fast! The chair is very sturdy and extremely comfortable, it even has 2 side pockets for small items. I like it so much that I purchased 4 Cliq chairs in 4 different colours. I subtracted one star because of the weight, this is definitely not a chair for backpacking.
