Exactly what I needed for the bedroom TV
Color: White Size: Standard
Just got a new TV in the bedroom which lacks the ability to have headphones plugged in AND still have the TV speakers when you need them, without needing to unplug the headphones. (Old TV did that) My first solution was adding a soundbar which on the optical digital out, works independently of the headphones, so that worked, but the digital sound was all over the place volume-wise between TV input sources as well as favoring loud music and effects with impossible to hear dialogue. Through the TV's headphone jack out, the sound was perfect. So now with this well-made splitter I can split the output and always have sound going to the headphones, and mute the soundbar (it came with a remote) when using those headphones. Works perfectly. No difference in sound quality either and a fantastic price. I'm always the guy who has a unique purpose for an item like this. I realize it's most popular as a way of sharing an audio source between two people and I would imagine with the sound quality it will deliver in that regard too. ... show more

Works...but at a loss of sound quality
Color: Black Size: Standard
Got this so I could use an MP3 player with one speaker and one set of headphones rather than plugging and unplugging them. This fits both as expected and does indeed split the sound into both. HOWEVER, the sound quality disappeared. Or rather, I lost a large portion of the lower registers so that the sound is now treble-heavy. It's "okay," in that regard, but far from ideal and what I wanted. Still, overall, this works and would be fine for something like a portable DVD player or maybe even gaming, but for actual music listening, less than ideal. ... show more

This has been a great tool in splitting a clean stereo signal and sending it to two different cameras. Love the product

This splitter does not work and you can't return it.
Color: White Size: Standard
If I could give zero stars I would. Listen to the one star reviews on this one. The splitter is not usable due to the extreme poor sound quality. One headphone didn't produce any sound and the other one was very little sound. This company is hiding behind their name. You assume it will work as its name brand but it seems like this is a very common problem yet they don't offer returns through amazon and their return procedure for an inexpensive item is not worth the time. Skip this one and try another. ... show more

Solved my problem & works great!
Color: Black Size: Standard
I stream music a lot on my desktop PC & have 2 sets of speakers. I got a new computer with Windows 11. Windows 11 plays audio through one device at a time. I did my homework & found you could change your sound settings using a feature called Stereo Mix. It worked & life was good until my computer crashed & I got the blue screen of death. Had to clean it off entirely & reinstall Windows 11. Afterwards I was trying to set the Stereo Mix again & it would not work, no matter what I did. So, I bought this splitter. Now I can listen to both sets of speakers again and they are both plugged into the splitter. Not sure why I couldn't get Windows 11 Stereo Mix feature to work, but this solved my problem & it wasn't expensive. ... show more
