The hair is nice and soft but it shades a lot. I have it an initial wash, before wearing it, swaying it thru the water, nothing aggressive and I was surprised at the amount of hair that was coming out. When I wear it and comb thru, it shades more than my natural hair, like a cluster of hair. i have had extensions before that I have washed and maybe lost a hair or two, not this one. I love the hair and I wish the craftsmanship was better.
