Have used Happy for Men for many years. I was skeptical due to some negative reviews but gave it a shot as it was 1/2 the price of "fancy Dept. Store" DEFINITELY NOT the same product I get at Macy's! Did my own "unscientific test", sprayed both the Dept. Store version and the Amazon version on 2 clean handkerchiefs. After 1/2 hour the handkerchief with the Amazon version had virtually NO fragrance left, the Macy's version still STRONG! Not sure if it is fake or just totally watered down. Both bottle labels on bottom said same. COLOGNE SPRAY/EAU DE TOILETTE POUR HOMME SPRAY. Macy's version Madie in USA, Amazon version Made in Switzerland. Bottom line: DON"T waste your hard earned money! Pay double and get the real stuff. Not even good enough to use as bathroom spray. Amazon should be ashamed for selling this junk!! I'm disappointed, this is the first time I've bought this cologne online and it's not nearly as "strong" as what I've bought at Macy's. This wears off within an hour. My guess is it's a knockoff.

I've used Happy cologne for quite a long time, mostly purchasing from big box stores, but figured this was convenient ordering from Bezos... Much to my dismay, the other reviewers were not crazy - this stuff does not last more than a few minutes! I even put on about FOUR times as much as I normally would (like, A LOT) - could not even find a HINT of the smell after 20-30 minutes. Amazon was kind enough to refund my money, but still - you guys should definitely look into whats going on with this product. It DOES smell the way it SHOULD right out of the bottle, but that sweet smell does not last more than a few minutes. ... show more

I read a lot of reviews saying this is fake and the fragrance dissipates quickly. Not true at all. This cologne lives up to quality I'd expect from a Clinique product. Warning though, it sprays a large amount compared to other colognes I've used. One spray is all it takes. Excellent scent, not too musky like most other men's fragrances. Couldn't stop sniffing my wrists, lol. Frangrance dissipates to a minimum after 6-7hrs but lingers noticably for at least 12. It's pretty strong stuff so that's not a bad thing. ... show more

    • Pleased but could be more “Happy”
First, let me start by saying I use to LOVE this cologne. About a decade ago this is one of the main colognes that I wore on a daily bases and I always received the nicest compliments. So I was excited to order this cologne. Fast forward to now, I received my cologne which was packaged well and smelled GREAT, just like I remembered! I was so “Happy”! I’m giving the product 4 stars though because the scent doesn’t last as long as what I remember it lasting. “Happy” to me has a clean, refreshing scent that I enjoy and since I’m a nurse that works 12 hr shifts, I enjoy a cologne that is durable enough to withstand that 12 hrs. I’m not dissatisfied as it smells great just not a 100% pleased as I’ll have to carry with me to add here and there for a refreshing scent. ... show more

    • Totally legit and awesome value for the price
I was kinda worried about it being fake or damaged after reading some of the reviews on here. But after receiving it super quick and trying it, I can say it’s totally legit. Many people are saying that it doesn’t last long and I think they don’t understand the difference between an Eau De Toilette and a Parfum. With this being an EDT, it will cost less and last a shorter amount of time than the Parfum does. That would explain the price difference between the two types of colognes/perfumes. For the money, you can’t beat this one. I have bought this exact same bottle in a department store for $20 more and it is identical in smell, packaging and origin of its making. This has a light, fresh citrus scent and it’s great. I personally feel like I got one hell of a good deal and I would highly recommend buying this one! ... show more

I'm not one to normally leave a review, but I must say I am not happy (no pun intended) with this product. I'm always leery of buying cologne online because I'm afraid it will be watered down. I'm afraid that's exactly what I got here. I couldn't smell it 10 minutes after putting it on. When I came to leave the review, I expected to see it was sold by a 3rd party seller, but saw it was sold by Amazon. i guess that doesn't mean they didn't get it from some other party.
