There's a reason this table is so cheap. You get what you pay for. I would not recommend this shaky little table. It's very small, check the dimensions, something I didn't do; I wish I had!

So, the main reason I grabbed this is because I like to work on my computer during commercial breaks, and I also like to eat while I watch TV. My chief complaint about this particular piece is that the table top is quite shaky when in the upright position. When typing, there's no resistance so it just wobbles all over the place. That makes me nervous to put an open beverage on it when it's up as well. When the top is down, it's fine, it just depends how you plan to use it. I will say that there's quite a few bits that go into the assembly with this, so be prepared to designate 30-60 mins for project time. Also, a word of caution - don't use an electric drill with this; if it tightens too much it strips the inside 'wood' and the screws fall right out of place. I was able to jimmy it to get everything to stay together, but outside of a starter table for an apartment or dorm, this doesn't really suit my needs.

It was not the easiest to assemble. It took me a little over an hour to put together with a kitten helper. It is kind of small but the dimensions listed appear to be accurate. I think it would be great for small spaces. The major benefit is that the top lifts up but I get worried putting anything heavy on it while it is extended but I am probably worrying for nothing.

The Clikuutory modern dark grey lift top coffee table works well in my small apartment. I love that you have storage underneath and the height adjustment of the lid allows one to use it as TV tray for eating. It was more difficult to assemble than I expected but I eventually completed the assembly in about an hour (I'm not very handy). It could be a bit sturdier but it works well for my needs. I like the color as well.

First of all, this item is great for small space. However, it is not easy to assemble, and I spend almost 100 minutes for assembly. I would give 5 stars if they can simplify the assembly. In terms of the product, it is definitely one of my favorite furniture. The design is simple, but very practical. By simply lifting the cover of the coffee table, it can reach a different altitude to meet different requirement. In addition, the quality of this coffee table is excellent, well crafted. Recommended.

This modern dark grey coffee table saves space and looks great. I have a small room that I'm converting into a home office/guest bedroom. All of the dressers,shelves, and desk are this dark gray color so this coffee table fit right in. Set about 1 hr aside to put this together. The lift table will take some time if you are putting it together by yourself. The feature that is different from most particle board furniture is that this has plastic inserts that the connecting screw labeled A1 screw into which is a nice detail (see picture) and very helpful so it doesn't damaged the particle board. This coffee table fit my needs and was at a decent price point. I recommend if you need to save space or just want a modern look that is affordable.

I rather like this coffee table a lot. It was rather easy to build with some decent instructions. It didn’t take me longer than an hour & a half for the entire assembly. The table is strudy enough to last for a few good years, if it’s taken care of and not carelessly pushed around or constantly exceeding it’s weight capacity. However, I don’t see it lasting for decades, not that I’d need it to. I adore the storage space that the table provides, freeing up space in my room and de-cluttering a bit. I really love the moving desk feature of this table. It’s rather helpful when doing homework or projects on my laptop. I do recommend this product to anyone in the market for a coffee table with some ample storage space and good utilization of its features !

It looks nice though it does look nicer from a far but up close it looks on par with most Ikea furniture. It was a little complicated to assemble and requires some attention to detail to make sure you don't put the pieces the wrong way and have to backtrack. Be careful tightening the screws and posts as they feel as though they could strip out real easily. Also you will definitely need a second person to install the top that opens to reveal the storage compartment. You will need a phillips screwdriver and ample time.
