I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these shoes. They’re stylish and comfortable, and even provide adequate warmth. I had actually purchased these to wear for the day of my elopement in late April and I needed shoes suitable to walk trails since I was doing an outdoor state-park photoshoot for it; these shoes turned out to be the perfect footwear I needed! Their functionality not only served me well, but it was also a plus that I got several compliments on them the day of! It took me a while to figure out which size to select for these since there were numerous conflicting recommendations about whether these are true to size or not. Based off my personal experience I can say that these are true to size; I didn’t need to size up or down. I’m normally a size 8.5 in boots specifically and these fit me perfectly and were comfortable enough to wear with average-thickness ankle socks. So if you’re conflicted about what size to pick I would personally recommend just going with your normal shoe-size. I can’t speak much about them being water-proof since the weather was nice when I used them, but I did walk through some shallow puddles in them and they were fine. Gorgeous, comfy, flexible and great value. These boots are a pleasant surprise. For the money they are amazing. A few reviews said get the wide fit which concerned me as I did not and I have horrible buniony feet BUT they are just fine! Ok so getting winter white means I have to take extra care color wise but I intend to only wear these out and not hiking. They look amazing and more expensive than they were. ... show more

I don't typically write reviews but holy moly. These boots are really close to being perfect! I planned on switching the laces b/c I do like the black boot, red laces look. However, these laces are super cute and go really well with the boot. BUT, I have noticed after two days of wear, the laces are kind of sort of coming undone/loose on my right boot. So that is why I gave four stars. Even though I am changing laces, I just wanted to note that small detail of the boot. I did get 9Wide but could've gotten a regular size 9 bc the boot is kind of wide to begin with. Hope that makes sense lol Otherwise, this is a great, comfortable and sturdy boot! I have gotten so many compliments on these boots! I bought them in a size 11W in the color black. The fit really well and are very durable. They aren't waterproof, but you could purchase some waterproofing spray. They don't have much arch support, but they wear very nicely.
