I used this for holding down outdoor carpet. I found that it works WAY better for me than my old solution of large nails with washers. The staple holds securely, and grabs a much wider area than the stakes I used before did, and I feel like it holds the carpet much better without the risk of ripping. I was surprised how sharp these seemed, and they went through my (admittedly cheap) outdoor carpet super easily, and went in without much effort. I have never used landscaping staples before, so I have nothing to compare these to in that regard, but I was disappointed how easily these bent when they encountered rocks.     • Great low cost landscaping staples!
I picked these up to help me with a project in my backyard installing a drainage solution/rock river to help move water away from the property. These stapes are decently strong and worked in my mostly clay South Carolina backyard dirt. While a few did bend, I will say that the dirt here is also very rocky, and in the heat of the summer can turn rock hard, so a few bent ones are to be expected. Otherwise they worked great to keep down the landscaping fabric, and I would be comfortable to buy from this seller again. 4/5 would recommend these! ... show more

I recently installed four outdoor speakers in my backyard and purchased direct bury speaker wire through Amazon to complete the project. I didn't know they sold such an item, but it made the project so much easier and less expensive than purchasing plastic conduit to run standard speaker wire through. In some areas, I was able to lightly drench and bury the line and in other areas, the line was barely underground. This is where these landscape stakes came in handy. I was able to drench lightly and then use the staples to keep the cord down and cover over lightly with dirt and leaves. I didn't want the cords to resurface in time and become a tripping hazard. The stakes worked perfectly for this job. The stakes are stiff and penetrated the ground easily and didn't bend easily when I hit a rock under the surface. They claim they are galvanized and shouldn't rust anytime soon, so that's a plus. I liked the length of them being six inches which anchored them well in the earth. I used my small 5lb mallet with a large surface to evenly distribute the force and not bend the head of the pin. The other project I will use these pins for is my outside irrigation because those lines are not buried deep either. I found it easier to drench lightly and bury and then just rely on blowing out the lines when Winter approaches to avoid any freeze damage and it has worked for years. I have a NPT fitting directly installed into my outside water line in conjunction with a ball valve that I connect my air compressor to and it makes it so easy to blow them out. So basically, these pins are handy to have around for numerous tasks and I found these pins to be well made and well priced and would recommend the purchase. ... show more

These landscape staples are thick enough to hold the fabric and not bend as they are being installed, but also narrow/pointed enough to go into the ground easily. They come in a pack of 25 so perfect for smaller areas.

    • Ground staples for many uses.
You get a 30 of these 6 inch long (each side) landscape staples from Clevsto. A bit over a 1.5 inch gap/U on top. Great for a variety of work and needs. Securing a hose, geotextile ground fabric, fence bottoms, tarps, tents, etc. Pretty sturdy for the size/gauge. So far no rust but time will tell. Handy to have around the garden shed or shop. Use a rubber mallet if you need to pound them in, not a steel hammer. Or put a block of wood on top to keep it safe. ... show more

    • Better than the hardware store
These are great landscaping spikes and better quality than the big box stores plus they're cheaper! I use landscape spikes to hold decorations in place and also for holding my nets and other gear in place when my kids are practicing baseball in the yard. I am able to reuse them many times so I do not go through a lot at a time but I do need to replace them at times. These are thicker than what I have from the big box store and they're much cheaper too. These have held their shape through a few uses already. They have been great to use so far and have worked fantastically. They are sharp and go into the ground easily. These would be great for any landscaping project you can think of! ... show more

These are good landscape staples. Listed as 10 gauge wire meaning they should be a little over 2.0 mm thick, which seems accurate (see photo). The soil around our house has a lot of rock, so I was expecting some difficulty installing the staples, but most went in easily by hand, a few required the use of a rubber mallet. I only bent one, and it was quickly straightened and installed. The staples were used to hold down aluminum screen next to our house foundation (see photo). Our dog likes to dig near the foundation and aluminum screen pinned to the ground and covered with mulch is a good deterrent. These were provided for my evaluation, but if I'm in need more in the future I would buy them. ... show more

These landscape staples are much sturdier than the ones that I can get at the home center. A little bit heavier gauge and a little longer. These are really useful and the best landscape staples that I've gotten so far
