I'm not a great golfer. I have only been golfing for a year and my old putter didn't even have grooves on the face. But, this putter has definitely improved my game. I went for the center shafted version because I felt like I was able to put better when taking the putter straight back. Since I bought this putter, I made my first birdie ever and have been 2 putting far more often. The large grip helps me a lot because I have naturally shaky hands. It makes it much easier to hold the putter straight. This putter also has quite a bit of weight to it. Personally, I prefer that because I think it helps me control the speed better. Like I said, I'm not really sure if I know what I'm talking about, but if your a new golfer like me and are looking for a good putter that isn't crazy expensive, I think this is a great option. ... show more

One round with this Cleveland gem of a putter and I am immediately placing it in my permanent bag above my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 that I’ve played for almost 20 years. Today I made six long range putts with this putter that I probably would have missed otherwise. The reason I think is the pure face balance and the heavier putter weight that allows the clubhead to arc perfectly—and easily and repeatably—through the hitting zone. I’m a good green reader and it just gives me so much confidence now that when I read the line and speed I feel like I am going to make the putt! It’s such a great feeling! My playing partner just couldn’t stop grinning in disbelief at all the putts I was making. I have no idea how a $139 putter is better than a $400 Scotty but it is. Before I bought it I read the favorable reviews so let me just add mine to the mix. This putter is a steal! It is a professional putter that you will not regret putting in your bag. This is especially useful for short putts. For me, it worked perfectly when the distance was between 6 and 7 feet. I had tried several different brands, including some premium ones like Honma, PXG and Scottie Cameron, but none of them made me feel as confident as this putter. I tried playing with Lab Zero Torque, but I couldn't get used to it. However, I felt and played very well from the first round with this Cleveland. The center shaft made the difference. Very nice putter. I wanted a center shafted putter and this one fit. I really like the feel and the lines at address. I would of given a 5 star but they use Velcro instead of magnets on the head cover.

Oh boy, I love this putter so much! Like a lot of golfers, I've tried a bunch of different kinds of putters. I have had the blade style putter and I liked it, but then I tried a mallet style putter and I 'thought' I liked it, but ended up going back to the blade putter. Then I saw this one. I had never seen a putter with the shaft connected at the center. This design really only makes sense if you are using a mallet style putter, but it seemed like it would help a little bit with making sure the blade was square at impact. As I began to get back into golfing and watching the pro tournaments, I saw that an awful lot of the pros were using the mallet style, so I thought I would give this putter from Cleveland a try. I really do like the feel of it. I guess they call it a "soft" feel putter, but whatever you call it, it works for me. Aside from getting my direction right, I have always had difficulty with striking the ball for the correct distance, resulting in 3 putts (or more!). This is where this putter has really helped my game a lot. Now if only the putter had Artificial Intelligence to help me with reading the greens! YMMV, not everybody likes the same thing, but you might as well try this one and see what you think. ... show more

Fantastic putter for a very affordable price. This putter is a gem! Pros: Affordable price. (I paid ~$150 for the black version with composite shaft.) Milled face is fantastic for feel. Putter has a nice balanced feel. (I'm a straight putter, so I never felt the need for adjustable weights.) Composite shaft looks cool. (Not sure if it has any performance benefits.) Grip is nice and fat. Tacky rubbery feel. Looks pretty durable. Head cover is really nice, minus the Velcro closure. (see cons below) Cons: Velcro on the head cover flap is annoying. Magnetic flap would have been nice. I love center shaft putters. Unfortunately, the selection is somewhat limited unless you go the zero torque putter route. I'm not a believer in zero torque, so I wasn't about to shell out ~$400. Cleveland to the rescue. Thank goodness... ... show more
