  • Worked great even for beginners
This was my first epoxy table project. It was a big one at 10' by 2'. This epoxy was very easy to work with, it gave about an hour worth of work time, and in around 10 or 12 hours was pretty dry. It was easy to get the bubbles out and the final flood coat came out perfectly clear. Couple of lessons, which were my fault. The table has to be flat, I had burned mine for affect and that caused the sides to come up some, this epoxy when drying is going to find the flat spot, or I mean its going to self level, but it can't if the what you are pouring it over isn't completely flat. Mix it 1 to 1 and I put the hardner in first and then poured the resin on top, I had mixed with a mixing stick for 3-4 min and you tell when its ready because it goes from cloudy to clear. I am buying more of this brand to use on my next project which is going to be a river pour, once you do one you get the bug to do more projects. Worked great for me! ... show more

  • I love this product
The media could not be loaded. I love this product. I'm new to resin art and this resin was easy to use. It has clear instructions and the product itself is awesome. It comes out clear, it's easy to remove from my molds, it takes about 24 hours or a little less to harden and it's easy to stir in color, glitter, or other small items. I would not recommend making large amounts in one container. It can get extremely hot when too much is made at once in a single container. It can get kinda messy so I would recommend having silicone Matt's while working with this product, but all in all I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Awesome epoxy!
The problem with epoxy is you only get one shot at it! Easy to use. There's 2 bottles & you mix them together. Not hard at all. Fast shipping, nicely packed. I made a quartz rock table, put a light underneath to illuminate it. Turned out exactly as I wanted. Epoxy was super easy to work with. I've bought other companies epoxy that say clear & it isn't as clear as you would want when cured. Make sure to stir thoroughly (3 mins was recommended), bubbles will rise out as you do it. Then don't touch your project for days & it will settle nicely. It did harden after a few hours, but depending on the thickness - you should be patient and allow it to fully cure without being moved. In my case I left it for a week before messing with it. The hamster wheel is turning in my head, already thinking of the next project & will definitely buy from this seller again. ... show more

  • The temperature & weather and places you use.the epoxy important.
The 1st time I did it in my basement it was cold raining and damp outside it didn't turn out so great it was still kind of sticky and it took a while for it to dry it rained like 3 days in a row. The 2nd time I did it it was bright warm and Sunny out and it dried quickly perfectly left no stickiness and had no issues. I recommend paying attention to the weather and pick a warm/ sunny day. and level area. Unfortunately my basement wasn't As loveless I thought it was. Use a level and check to make sure it's very easy to think that is leveled by looking at it and find out afterwards that it's not. So do check if it's level. Do beforehand.. So you don't have to fix anything like I Did. But overall it turned out great my granddaughter loved it and I'm very pleased with it wouldn't so pleased with all the work to check your temperature and make sure you have a level area. ... show more

  • Not a fun time
I had such a hard time with this entire gallon. I stopped doing big pours or clear ones and had to be choosy and if I got it to cure and if it didn't flash cure and end up in the trash. If I were new to resin and never used it before, I would've never done it again lol. The bottle upon first appearance looked a little yellow. The resin poured glumpy.. was so thick and all I can come up with. It was so unpredictable and I tried absolutely everything possible to heating it prior to use and letting sit, let it sit after stirring, spraying alcohol vs not doing anything at all.. I tried everything. It was a nightmare but being a single mom that works night shifts.. I could not give up and toss it. O was sldetermined to get something good poured out of it. The metallic colors were also strongly effected. They looked dull and bland weirdly. Example, my copper looked like mud and so on. I was so excited and the first time I went fpr it and purchased a gallon so I could get a lot done for my website and I did a lot of research and they had better reviews than another one that was on sale. Plus side was no odor! That is awesome. I hope it was just a fluke and not the norm. I'm still trying to salvage some molds and catch up with my production. Hopefully this was a bad few containers that slipped through on accident or accidentally stored wrong. From now on, with first arrival of any resin, I'm going to fully inspect prior to opening and if it looks bad or suspicious, I'm going to return asap. It wasn't worth all of the time I didn't have in the first place nor the energy I wasted on cleanups or trying to repair items that looked bad in a pour. (OH and the above.. the eggs- 1 clear was the different resin I had purchased prior to this one. The yellow and bubbles are obvious in the image, my letters couldn't be clear at all because of the bubbles no matter what. And in the bottle you can see how it appears to be yellowish. ... show more

  • Not good for beginners or crafters seeking to relax
I’m newer to the resin game. This was my third kind and the worst, though cheaper than most. The resin is super gloopy, making it very difficult to get to exact measurements. The hardener is fine, it’s easy to pour and measure. It takes much longer to mix than the other kinds I have tried, and even with extensive mixing, there were streaks in my projects. I wouldn’t start here. It also doesn’t dry as fast or cleanly as the other brands I have used. It doesn’t level as well, either; almost as though it hardens before it can self-level, which is the whole point. It’s harder to clean out my silicon mixers. It might be because it’s quite challenging to measure exact amounts when one product is liquid and the other is more like semi-stalled jello. Maybe once you’re an expert, but I would not recommend this to people who are not professional artists. It also bubbled a lot more than the other brands. I thought I had babysat my projects through bubbles and blown them all out, only to wake up to another bubble to sand and start again. ... show more
