These were the first fake nails I bought that I've used on myself. If your nails do not have a high apex, you will need builder gel. They are also very thick, but not in a way that makes them extremely durable, they will bend if you try to bend them, and when you file them down to fit the shape of your nail better, they become extremely flimsy. I've also noticed that they don't come off as easily as other brands, which can be a pro or a con, I use the acetone soak method to remove my nails. So I typically do the "Gel-x" type of nail system. My nails usually pop off withint the first week and a half. I had to pry these off a month after. Like the glue is durable and I highly recommend.

I have been using these nails for the past 14 months. I absolutely love them. They have such a long wear and as pictured, the work well with regular polish, gel and color street nail strips. I’m so happy with these, I doubt I could ever stop using them

The only downfall is every set I’ve done (about four) the nails split- particularly my thumbs and pointer finger. I got these gel tips and I bought the same brand of gel base coat. I have used these twice, my current set has been on for over three weeks. They do definitely need a couple of extra coats of the base gel on top to strengthen them once you have attached them.
