Description

Sharing several styling cues with the Telecaster models of the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Classic VibeTelecaster Bass is a riff on the elusive humbucker-equipped beast that prowled through the groovy decade. Equipped with a Fender Designed alnico Wide Range humbucking bass pickup in the neck position, this bass produces thunderous tone well-suited for an endless variety of styles. This throwback Squier model also features a contoured body for superior playing comfort, period-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tinted gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.

  • Great Deep Sounding Bass That's Fun To Play
Color: Vintage White
This is a phenomenal instrument and another really interesting and uniquely-toned Squier bass. Like the Paranormal Rascal Bass HH, it has a darker, deeper, warmer tone to the pickup that is really resonant and satisfying. Build quality is very good. Plays super easily. Great neck. Holds tune surprisingly well. Vintage white (which is really quite yellow-ish) looks awesome and, yes, vintage. Not sure what's going on at Squier these days, but many of these newer Classic Vibe basses sound as good as or sometimes better than their Fender counterparts. Seriously, Squier is flexing some real creativity that parent company Fender probably can't get away with with in their primary lines. I appreciate that through Squier, some really interesting mashups like this one and the Rascal Bass can happen (that bass is a total winner too). It gives players room to spread out and do it affordably. Setup was good out of the box, stock strings actually sound very good, it's pretty light too. If you're looking for a unique, deep, earthy, sometimes woody, sometimes thuddy, Humbucker-type tone with a really interesting spectrum of sounds out of your bass, this is priced so reasonably, why not experiment? I did. Zero regrets. ... show more

  • Used Bass?
Color: Mocha
The bass came not in any original boxing, but just wrapped inside a generic box. Upon viewing, it had some scuffs and scratches and looked to be used (not in horrible shape), but... used. I give 2 stars because I was able to return it and get my money back.

  • Best Bass that Gibson never Made
Color: Mocha
This has that deep wooly tone that you get with an EB0 but with the benefits of a long-scale clarity with Fender-level craftsmen-ship . The nut seems to be cut a tad low, but nothing criminal. Built to last and to lay down that warm vintage bass sound!

  • Nice solid ax
Color: Mocha
Nice solid ax. I picked this model because, well, I’m vintage too. Sounds like the music I love. Couple it with. 100 watt fender rumble for a very kool practice experience.

  • Great bass.
Color: Vintage White
Classic old-school look and tones, very inexpensive.
