I rarely leave a negative review as most of the issues I come across with online purchases have been able to be worked out directly with the sellers. Unfortunately this is not one of those circumstances. I have tried to call the number provided and can’t not get to an actual customer service rep. The automated system hangs up on me after I have selected the various options that are provided. There is also no way to contact anyone through Amazon (atleast I can’t seem to find it). With that said, I recently purchased 2 of these covers to get my Kayaks out of the garage and stores in the back yard as we recently had to convert the garage into an office (wfh) space. We looked at many different options and ultimately chose to purchase these. We live in the PNW and based on the description, these sounded like the right fit. Wrong! After only 2 weeks outside, most dry and warm conditions, we received a couple days of intermittent rain. After the second rain, we noticed a belly on the bottom-middle of the kayak bag. My wife and I checked it out and sure enough, it was FULL of water. We took out the kayaks and were extremely disappointed to see not only were the kayaks covered in moisture, the seats and cockpit were beginning to mold. (See photos). We were able to clean one of the kayaks easily however the pictures kayak is not cleaning up as well and may be stained or ruined. We invest a lot in our recreation and take excellent care of everything. Needless to say, we couldn’t be more disappointed with these purchases. For the price, these should have minimized... if not kept our kayaks dry through just a couple days of moderate rain fall. Buyers beware if your looking to protect your kayaks or other watercraft outdoors! (If I had the ability to discuss this with customer service and the option to get a refund was given to us, I would not have left such a lengthy review) Unfortunately the Amazon return period had expired before we received any rainfall and we were unable to verify this issue prior to the expiration. Hope this helps others avoid the issues we are experiencing.

This went on our fishing kayak outside and it is awesome! Thicker than expected, which is fantastic. The water just beads right off. We have this on our kayak and it does not interfere with putting it on our kayak rack either. Definitely recommend.

These seem like sturdy kayak covers, but they don't fit Hobie Mirage Passport 12' kayak. The boat is too wide for the cover.

I ordered this bag to store my kayak for the winter. It was exactly what I was looking for, a loop on each end and would fully cover the kayak. The material seemed durable enough but unfortunately it did not fit my kayak. Ascend H12 Hybrid. I am afraid to order the 16' version and have way too much material on both ends.

It fit my Perception JoyRide 120 (12ft) as if it were made for it. Just had a big rain storm and my kayak and accessories are completely dry afterwards. I placed my boat and zipper on the rack facing down and there was no pooling water like some customers said they experienced. I’m happy with the quality, design, and fit of this cover. No reason to give less than 5 stars.

I saw mixed reviews on the waterproof qualities of this cover. I was optimistic and decided to give them a try. All I can say is listen to the other reviews. It is not waterproof in the slightest. I bought two of these and promptly returned them. I followed the instructions in the product description, and I stored both kayaks with the zippers facing down. The covers still held about a gallon or two of water. I could easily see this causing mold. Look elsewhere, or for another method, to cover your kayak. If you don’t care about the cover being waterproof, the material seemed of high quality and like it would last a long time (this is the reason for two stars instead of one). It’s just a bummer that it isn’t waterproof.
