  • Lightweight Cover but worth the cost.
I have a 14' x 48" (33" beam) jon boat. It looks good and fits great. It isn't canvas but a polyester (like a tent) type fabric. So far it has held out the water. Heavy rains will definitely puddle the cover down to the floor so make sure if you have a fish finder or something else pointy in the boat; take it out or it WILL poke a hole through the fabric. I am sure I will be waterproofing this over the year. It isn't heavy duty so it isn't going to be durable but for the 1st cover and being stored mostly in the garage, it's perfect. Stretches nicely and I used adjustable bungy cords to hold it in place. I do have seats in the boat but they are folded down and it still fits nicely. If an outboard motor is on the 14" boat; it will not go over that. If you have a 12' boat with outboard motor it should go over motor. For the price and for a year or 2, I think it will be just fine. ... show more

  • Great for the money
I have only had for a few weeks but I did ad a waterproof coating to it after reading other reviews and it rained last night and the boat is dry inside when I ordered it said fits upto a 60 inch wide mine is 52 inch and it only has about 3 inch overhang on the side the boat is 14 feet long and it covers the length well if you dont want to tent it up much biggest problem is only 3 pair of tie down holds it could us a pair on the bow and stern ends Update I bought the cover 9/11/2020 it is 2/15/2023 the cover has done great has been used year round outside in the sun it did fade in color and has now broke thru in the middle of it not a seam just sun rot and I am ordering my replacement when I done with this has been water proof the full time I do spray it once a year with bio kleen h20 repel also great product held up to all weather wind hail snow and ice I pay $40 when I got it and did not expect this much out of it great product buy it for sure ... show more

  • Expected quality for price
The fit of the cover is very good for my 1436 Jon. in fact, I wouldn't mind a little more material, as the tolerances are pretty close. I plan on making some kind of frame out of PVC to put on the inside of the boat to help drainage. This cover is not going to stop water from pooling, so some additional pitch (height) in the center of the boat is needed to allow for proper drainage. The fabric is nothing super heavy duty, but also not extremely lightweight either. I don't see this lasting for seasons and seasons to come. Good quality outdoor fabric is $18 per yard and up, so the material is about what you would expect for 50 bucks, as there's a fair amount of material here. The tie down is just one long strap, and would certainly be nice to see some kind of tension system, but it's really nothing more than some thin rope. Some nice quality webbing with a couple of cam locks or similar would be nice to see, but of course this would add to the cost. Again, about what I expected for 50 bucks. Hopefully with another $15 worth of PVC from home improvement store I can pitch the center enough to allow water to roll off, and get a few seasons out of it. My boat has carpet, so hope to keep the water out! In short, it's a decent quality item for the price or to put another way "you get what you pay for". ... show more

  • Inexpensive and decent material but color faded in 3 months
Purchased this boat cover in September and installed around late October on a 10ft jon boat. The cover fit well, a little big, but was easy enough to secure and tie down. It would probably fit a 12ft boat pretty well. I had an issue with water pooling because the cover was fitted too loose and need some supports to "tent" the cover. but I was able to overcome that challenge after the first rain. The cover is indeed waterproof and had a great, somewhat shiny olive drab green color when it arrived. Matched the boat pretty well. The straps are useful and the elastic skirt is a bonus. Really had no major issues with the functionality of this cover since installation. I just set it and forget it. FAST FORWARD to January 2020 and after just a few months of ownership and use. The color has faded. What was once olive green is now a grey/yellow color. I am a little disappointed. Hopefully it will be covered under the warranty. PROS: - Inexpensive - Fits 10ft. boats - Has tie down straps & elastic skirt - Waterproof - Material is structurally strong CONS: - Color faded from UV exposure - Faded color makes this look old CONCLUSION: This is an OUTDOOR cover, it is advertised to be used outside in the elements, thus, the material should be better formulated to withstand a few months of Autumn sunshine. I fear that in a few more months The fabric degrade further and become weak and eventually rip. ... show more

  • Durable, quality value that fits my boat
This is a great boat cover. My first one survived one Florida summer, a trip from Florida to Texas, and one Texas summer. It faded a lot after two years; but it fits great, durable at 80mph for 800 miles, and at no time was the boat garaged. After researching other brands online, we decided to purchase a new one this fall. Now the old cover serves as a plant cover for winter. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

  • Just as expected
It fits my 14' Jonboat perfectly, even though I have a trolling motor that stows flat on the bow and a bow light bar that sticks up about 5". Came with a storage bag and a long length of lanyard for further securement through the D rings.

  • DONT BUY!!
Two months and the cover is completely faded out and ripped. Had high hopes when I first got it and fit the boat perfectly, but trust me save your money
