I purchased these chair covers, chaise lounge covers and one to cover my gas grill in 2016. They have seen 4 summers in North Carolina - high heat and humidity, frequent summer thunderstorms. The material is very thick and durable, almost stiff. Roomy, easy to put on and off. I always had them on if I wasn't using my chairs/grill. Only one chair cover has a tear in the fabric, about 2 inches in the sloping side that gets the most weather exposure. They did get dirty looking, less attractive by the second year but I never tried cleaning them so I can't say how well that works. These are well made! I didn't want to replace a storm damaged garden shed just to store some chairs. These are so generously sized that I will be able to store the cushions with the stackable chairs. No more sap covered patio furniture. What a simple and effective solution. I think I am going to purchase more to cover a table and a bench as well. My first Veranda cover was for my grill. It was such a great cover, that it was an easy choice to go with the Veranda for our chairs. I have bought a total of three sets of covers for this patio set. I am sure that this veranda set will be the last for a while. The fabric is thick and the stitching is heavy duty. The drawstrings are nice to give you a custom fit as well. The sewn on handles are a nice added feature that I thought I wouldn't really use, but ended up liking. Our chairs are low and wide. They are kind of a rocker. Either way, they are bulky. These covers fit perfectly. The chairs are 36" high, 30" wide, and 32" deep. Of course the cover doesn't go all the way to the bottom, but that is not a problem. The drawstring allows you to snug the cover up around the bottom of the chair. These covers have with stood some pretty high winds with no hints of coming off (Especially if you use the velcro straps as well, which I don't usually).
