I love these boots! I have a hard time with shoes being comfortable enough for me. I work on my feet and need something comfortable! I ordered my normal size, but sent them back for a half size bigger. They were too tight around the toes. I’m not normally a wide size. The boots are attractive and seem like they will last. The leather and the sole are quality materials. However, the inside of the sole has absolutely no support or padding. The only padding comes from a well-made but still insufficient removable insole. When the insole is removed, it is easy to feel the ridges on the top of the sole. A shoe at this price point should NOT need multiple user-supplied insoles to be comfortable. Fast fashion begets cheap manufacturing practices. I expect better from this brand. ... show more

My last two pairs of Clarks boots had a rather snug fit, but these were roomy and comfortable from the start. I can even wear a thick sock with them. The only negative opinion I have is that the burgundy color does not stand out and comes across as a dull brown color.
