Very comfortable to me. I bought my regular size. and as other people have said, they’re a little short in the toe if you do. I didn’t notice when I put them on initially, but after a couple hours of wearing, they felt a little too small on one of my feet. I read the reviews and saw this is common so I stuck with them, and after wearing a few times that has gone away. I think they have stretched just a bit, which is nice. I don’t think I would change anything and buy a bigger size because it would be too much with the stretching. Truly they are quite comfortable and I recommend.

I was determined to find a comfortable pair of flat black ankle boots, which as any woman will tell you, is not as easy as it sounds. There were plenty of choices on Amazon. One of the (approximately) six pairs I ordered was this pair of Clarks, which I ordered solely on the strength of their reputation, as I hadn't owned a pair of Clarks before. When they arrived, and I put them on, it felt like I was sliding my feet into a Tempurpedic mattress -- my foot was surrounded by a firm cushion, with just a little "give". It was amazing, and so different from the other boots I was comparing them to. The only problem was that I had ordered them in a size 9 to accommodate socks, but now I knew I would be wearing them a lot, with all kinds of stockings. So I exchanged them for an 8.5. (That size was backordered a month, but I didn't care.) When they arrived, I immediately put them on and wore them three days in a row - not a twinge, not a rub. Heaven!

The detailing on these books is more beautiful than the picture. I would recommend a wide width. They run narrow.

I am quite happy with these boots. They are very comfortable and I am active, on my feet, all day for my job (but still need to look nice). They are dressy enough to wear with dresses, but still subtle and not flashy. I wish they were a little tighter around the ankle, but maybe that would make them a little less comfortable. I'm also worried about the suede holding up, but I used waterproofing spray and am not going to walk thru snowdrifts in them, so maybe it will be OK.

I have an extremely hard time finding the right boots that fit and so glad I found these Clarks! Love the color, love the heel, which I wanted a heel that was comfy in wearing everyday just to hang. They also feel extremely comfortable and have like a cushion feel to it. Love the color which is the the dark khaki, which really isn't dark at all, which I love even better. The only thing is I ordered a 8 1/2 wide, and the right foot is a little tight by the toes. I am contemplating either returning or keep but will try them at home for the next few days and decide. I LOVE THEM!!
