In looks these are everything I love. Platform sole, patent real leather, burgundy! I was so excited to discover them and order them. I thought I'd solved my winter wide leg pants dilemma. But no, they are the most uncomfortable Clark's I've ever had on my feet. They're not killers, but they are too narrow at the top so they squeeze my toes while the heel is wide and slips. Just not at all what I was expecting in fit quality. (I've owned dozens of Clarks in my life). A sock feels bunchy but no sock rubs. They just kind of suck in fit. They are not super heavy or anything--its literally the shape of the shoe that doesn't work. I keep setting them aside and going back later to see if they strike me better but they keep disappointing. I love the way they look. I want them to work. But if I keep them I know I won't wear them.     • cute, but stiff and rub heel and hit ankle bone
i'm keeping them because they're cute and i've worn them outside, but they rub against the back of my heel so i have to wear a big strip of moleskin and no-show socks don't stay up at all. they also bump the bottom of my ankle bone. that hasn't started hurting yet, but it seems like it could. not shoes for walking much for those reasons, though the foot bed is cushy. maybe they'll break in... they're certainly a pretty color, and nice suede. cute for fall. ... show more
