  • stylish, comfortable, leather
Size: 8.5 Color: Black Suede
The Clarks Men's Bushacre 2 Chukka Boot is a high-quality, comfortable, and stylish option for any wardrobe. Made with premium leather and durable rubber soles, these boots offer great comfort right out of the box with no break-in period required. They have a timeless, versatile design that pairs well with jeans or dress pants, and they fit true to size. The boots are lightweight, cushioned, and perfect for all-day wear. Overall, they’re durable, stylish, and offer excellent value for money. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Excellent quality leather for the price
Size: 10 Color: Dark Brown
Excellent quality leather for the price. The boots are very well constructed and comfortable. The leather is really nice. It's darker brown in person when you first take them out of the box, but will probably get lighter. I haven't gotten to fully wear the boot. PLEASE NOTE: THE BOOTS RUN AT LEAST 1/2 SIZE LARGE, POSSIBLY A FULL SIZE LARGE. For example, I have a pair of Clark's Original Desert boots in a 10.5. When I first got them, I enjoyed just a little bit of what I considered extra space, but after wearing them for a few days realized that they were in fact too big. Due to the sole being scuffed and dirty from light wear, I was unable to return them. So when I ordered the Bushacre, I figured they would be the same, so I ordered a 10 instead of 10.5 thinking they would be a half size smaller. This was not the case. When I held the two pairs of boots up to one another, they clearly were identical. Consider sizing down at least one half size. Here is a list of my sizes which may or may not be helpful: Allen Edmonds: 10 C/D Wolverine 1000 mile: 9.5 D Original Chippewa: 9.5 D Converse Chuck Taylor: 9 D I cannot stress how good these boots look. I really love the dark brown color, and I was ready for a nice leather boot since I already have the lighter color (Oakwood) suede boots. I may consider a future purchase of another pair in a lighter color leather and/or a gray suede depending on availability. Very versatile. Goes with almost all of my slacks, jeans, and chinos. Awesome. PS: Kudos for Amazon for making the exchange process so simple and effective. Got the boots, size to big, put in for the exchange, and now order has already been dispatched for different size. Boxed them back up, printed return label, and now I'll stop at UPS during lunch to complete the exchange. I love how efficient this is. ... show more

  • Stylish boot
Size: 10.5 Color: Beeswax
In six years, I've ordered these boots twice. I really like the look of these boots and the leather holds up well, especially with care. I ordered half a size down since the leather will stretch with use and they fit alright. The inside of the boot is a bit hard. I recommend buying a insole insert to make them comfortable, especially if you will be walking or on your feet for long periods of time. Unfortunately, because I ordered half a size down, it can not comfortably accommodate both a gel insole and thicker socks until I break them in. They feel snug (but not tight) with normal socks and the gel insole. After some wear, I was able to use both with my previous pair. In my previous pairs, the soles wore down after a few years of use. This included the formation of holes that would allow water to seep in and get my feet wet. This is the only reason I replaced them. The leather, in comparison to the soles, held up well. It's a stylish boot that gets lots of compliments and can be worn with a casual or more dressy outfit. ... show more

  • they still look great considering their cheap price tag
Size: 8.5 Color: Beeswax
The Clarks Bushacre 2 in Beeswax was my second pair of dessert boots. I made the purchase with the consideration of quality and style in mind. Nearly 6 months later of wearing them atleast 3 times a week, they still look great considering their cheap price tag. In terms of construction, the Bushacres are made with full-grain leather uppers (albeit of a lower grade than more expensive shoes), featuring what appears to be a fabric lining. The main difference between these and Clarks Desert Boots are the rubber soles used in the Bushacres, which are harder than the soft crepe soles used in the Desert Boots. Due to the pillow-like comfort of crepe soles, many choose the Desert Boots over these. However, I chose these for what should be better durability than crepe. Besides, the tendency for crepe to become dirty and discoloured was one aspect that I decided I’d be better-off without. I have the original Clarks Desert Boots in grey and the soles are pretty black from dirt accumulating over time. Thee soles are holding up pretty well, I am considering getting these resoled with Dainite soles after they’re worn down. They have been through one winter full of snow. As far as sizing goes, I bought a full size down and with thick socks for the winter time, they fit perfectly. They took some time to break in and are now one of my more comfortable shoes. They do run wide but thats fine with me. I am just starting my sartorial journey and these are a perfect fit for me despite what some consider a sloppy unstructured aestheic. They look great with a pair of jeans for the I just chopped some wood look. And they look great for with khakis for the I'm a man but still stylish look. Over all at the end of the day they are an affordable pair of shoes made with good materials. Take good care of them and they'll good great. We are prime members so as always quick delivery. ... show more

  • Needs another eyelet, steel shank.
Size: 9 Color: Beeswax
The leather I love. It certainly feels durable, yet is nice enough to dress up. Of course, it will take a bit to break in. I used a some leather conditioner/lotion to speed it up. I can also say they are true to typical US sizing. I don’t like the sole or lack of eyelets. It needs a steel shank, as the support is near zero. After an added insert with rigidity, they feel better. My heel kept lifting out, and so I added an extra row to the top and now they feel right. Other chukkas have 3 eyelet rows, which is more in line with the original South African vellie, which Clark’s replicate. ... show more
