I love the look and feel of the shoe, however, sizing is a bit off. I usually wear a 12.5 wide, or a 13. I bought a 13 due to no half sizes in that size. Upon receiving, I inspected the shoe. I'm a HR Manager for a luxury hotel and I need a good pair of dress shoes, also ones that aid relief for plantar fasciitis. I take four flights of stairs constantly throughout the day. My shoes need to help with the 'end of the day' pain. The shoes are very nice looking, and comfortable except for 2 problems: one, is that the 13 is more like a 14 and two, the shoe box is super tight and narrow. My husband has another pair of these shoes in brown. He loves them, So I decided to get him a pair in black for Christmas. My order was stolen almost immediately after being left in the mail room. I reported it to Amazon. the following day, I received another pair. The delivery person texted to say how close they were and I was able to retrieve the package and beat the porch pirates! I work a city job which requires a half-mile walk to and from the office from my parking spot and I also choose to walk on my lunch break in these shoes. All told they get regular wear + around 2.5 miles of brisk daily walking in a hilly metro area. They last me almost a year in those circumstances - granted I'm sure I take them a little farther than some may prefer. They look good with business attire and are very comfortable to walk in. Why? Because they are comfortable. My husband had surgery on one foot, and it's always difficult to get shoes that fit both feet well, and are comfortable. Especially for a man who hates getting dressed up only slightly less than he likes to shop. These shoes worked. He looks great in them wether he wants to admit it or not. Thank you Clarks. This shoe is very comfortable and durable. My only complaint is that it does add some height. I’m sure this can be a positive thing for many, however - I already am 6+ feet tall and so I found this as a drawback. Don’t need my height anymore exaggerated than it already is. I’ve seen similar for 3-4x the price and these were great. The fit is a little larger than normal sizes. I sent the first pair back and got a size smaller. I wear a 15 in everything and needed a 14 in these. Comfortable and really nice shoes.

The shoe fits great. The sole is padded and comfortable. I got rid of the string laces and put in rubber no tie laces and they work great, putting the shoe on is much easier and more comfortable.
