This is my first pair of Wallabes Shacres so I don't know what the more expensive $160"Original" Wallabes felt like or how they were manufactured. With that said, this size 13M Beeswax pair I bought arrived in pristine condition, each shoe enclosed in a plastic bag with paper stuffed in the toes of each and a piece of cardboard in the ankle portion to help the shoe keep it's shape. They are high quality IMHO and I've bought lots of shoes in my life time. This same style has been around since I was a little boy in the 1970's although most I saw then were tan suede. They feel broken in already, extremely comfortable and light not sure why anyone would have a problem with these? I'm 6' tall and around 260lbs; I share this because a lot of reviewers do not add context to their reviews particularly when they complain or give bad reviews or for that matter good reviews. I hope this helps and would say these are a must buy if you want a pair of comfortable, timeless boots at a decent price. Macy's had them for $84 dollars on sale however they're back to $120 now.

Since I was a kid, I have always loved Clarks... particularly the Wallabies. This is an even cooler evolution of that iconic shoe. When I saw them I had to have them, but then I saw the price and try before you buy and it was an immediate no-brainer. Got em, wore em and bought them within a day, even though I had nearly a week to try them out. Told my brother and he bought them too!
