I originally ordered size 9-1/2 wide, because manufacturers nowadays make shoes sizes about one size smaller than whatever they are marked. So for example for a size 9 you have to get a size 10. That’s not the case with Clarks apparently and 9 1/2 wide was way too big for me and I sent it back for a 9 Wide, and it fit nicely. Every other place I buy shoes any other brand of shoes I always have to get a size larger so in other words I wear a size 10 even though I’m actually a size 9 because well the manufacturers know that this makes us men feel more macho so that’s why they do it. Anyway the boots are great I really love them and the Beeswax color is rich and better looks better in person. The return process was quick and easy so getting a different size was no problem.

I've bought these shoes three times. They look that good. Like most dressy boots they run a little big so I recommend getting a half size down from your normal sneaker size. They come incredibly stiff and for the first month it will dig into your ankles. But the quality is great and after about 3 months the leather smooths out a bit or you just get used to the pain on your ankles. Definitely need to buy sole inserts because it will feel like you are walking on plywood. But like I said I've bought these shoes three times now and I will probably keep buying them because I think they look that good and the leather is great quality. Comfort is trash but oh well

I tried two sizes. One was too big, the other fit fine with exception of the heel which was too loose. I inserted moleskin to the entire inner surface of the heel to mitigate the roughness of the leather and blistering. The footbed is not padded. After half a year, the soles are showing early wear. I was fortunate to pay less than $60 for the pair but I won’t buy this shoe again unless it was less than $40/pair.

I owned the original Clark’s Desert Boots back in the 1970’s and have to say the Bushacre 2 stacks up very nicely to the original. These do run 1/2 a size large so be sure to downsize. Comfort and support aren’t the greatest with these but somehow these fit better than I remember them to. The biggest difference between the original is the sole material, the original crepe sole wore out quickly and was very slippery when wet. The synthetic sole seems like it will be better as far as wear goes. Overall for the price I would certainly purchase again, this was a nice surprise!

These shoes are excellent. I'm happy I checked the reviews before ordering. It does fit one size smaller, I'm grateful for the guidance. It will take a few wears as expected with leather shoes for them to adjust to my hooves. I read in the comments that the soles were tough, but I must have hard feet is what I'm realizing, they are real comfortable to me.

I've been wearing some form of Clark's shoes since high school. I normally wear either the side zip casual boots, or the Desert Trek. These were on a flash sale and I decided to try a true chukka from them. After what was probably around a week of the most uncomfortable break-in period I've ever experienced in a shoe, these are amazing. During the break-in the top of the chukka dug so badly into the back of by leg, and the crest of the shoe under the laces felt like a small child was stomping on me. I don't have any special sizing concerns in general so I sized and bought as normal. After making it through all of that, these fit like a glove, just like my casual boots from them do.

The quality is hard, but it’s a boot so not expecting crazy flexibility. Just needs to get worn in, and after a while it’ll be fine. It’s not bad comfort sole isn’t very thick so be aware. It’s nice though

Knowing that Clarks are running 1/2 size too large - that's what I purchased. Cannot be happier! Fit, looks, comfort - all there. My son does not like those at all. He likes the looks, but not the fit. Returning second pair.
