I am extremely pleased with these boots. A few thoughts, in no particular order: • They fit as expected. Based on some other reviews, I ordered my normal size (12) and half a size down (11.5). The 12s are perfect, 11.5 was too small. But YMMV. • They were a little stiff at first, but after a couple of weeks they've broken in quite nicely, and are now EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. • I took these along with a pair of sneakers on a recent European vacation--a vacation where I spent the majority of my days on my feet, walking around sightseeing. The days I wore the sneakers, my feet, legs, and back ended up hurting quite a lot. The days I wore these boots, I experienced no pain or discomfort--just the normal fatigue that comes from walking 5-15 miles a day. • I was worried about scuffs, but most scuffs rub out really easily. As these break in, you get some folds and creases, but that seems to add to their character. • The boots are really flexible--they work well in casual settings, but also work nicely in less casual environments. They pair nicely with both blue and grey slacks. I don't know if I'd try wearing them with a suit (maybe a little too casual for that?), but they still present a nice range of options. • We'll see how they hold up over time, but given the Clark's brand reputation, I have high hopes for their durability. • Honestly, I can't believe you can get boots of this quality for less than $60. It's stunning. One complaint (if you can call it that): I ordered both the Dark Brown and Beeswax colors, because I wasn't sure which I'd like better. They were completely indistinguishable from one another. Not like, close but a little different...they were the EXACT. SAME. COLOR.

The Beeswax is a great color and looks like it will go with just about anything. I ordered a size 10 which is same size as my current pair of Bushacre 2’s. After comparing, these are slightly larger. This shoe is very forgiving with size so I may have been able to wear a 9.5 in my current shoes.

I wear US sneaker size 9.5, but I tried the 9.5 WIDE (way too big, and too long), and 9 WIDE (very roomy, cannot get tight with the design of the laces). Turns out regular 9.5 is perfect fit. I like the style and only wish they were made from a man-made material. So far very comfortable. I feel like they will last as long as the sole - which, if I wear them a lot will be 1-2 years

These boots are sharp. Material and look are really stylish and casual but professional. They wear like a pair of untied, loose converse high tops. I wouldn’t buy them if you’re a hard/fast walker looking for support when flying around the city or office. The lack of lace holes should have been indication enough for me that they wouldn’t be snug. It was my bad!

The leather is soft so it will get a lot of scratches. The inside is comfy and nice. Looks huge. Runs large so I am returning.
