Usually, even the largest sizes doesn’t fit my thumb nail. I thought this was the case for all press on nails I would buy. I found someone in an Amazon review day this brand was good for larger nail beds and decided to buy it and glad I did! These press ons go from 0-10 with 10 being the smallest. I was cursed with very wide thumb nails that even nail techs have difficulty with... these are the ONLY nails that I have found that actually fits my thumbs... my only complaint is that they don't have short coffin and I still have to trim and file them down, but still better than sculpting. They are strong and last me 2 - 3 weeks even though I'm not always the easiest on my nails as long as I paint them right away. ... show more

    • First nails done at home
These are the first nails I have done at home. The first set I did I followed the instructions that came with the kit and I had four nails come off within two day. However, since I had a clear glitter polish on them I was able to prime each finger and glue the nails back on which stayed on until I removed them. The second set I did I added a few steps of prep to see if I could improve the adhesion to my nails which seems to have worked. The steps I added are: I roughed up my nail a little with a coarse nail file and I put the glue on both my nail and the false nail then secured it to my finger. I used a different light then came with the kit because you have to hold the nail in position until after it has been under the light. Make sure you have it in the position you want because a few seconds under the light and you no longer can move the nail. Overall, I love these nails. ... show more

    • Odd Sizes - Extra Size 4 / 5 - Small Sizes are 6,7,8
I love these tips, they fit very well and are excellent full-cover tips, but the sizing is very confusing. They are in a "standard" Clara Colors box with bays numbered 1-10, but you get double the amount of size 4 and 5 and the small sizes are labeled (on the tips) as 6,7,8. It's odd, but it works well since sizes 4 and 5 are usually for the index and pointer fingers and for some these ARE the same size. Also, the small sizes that are /labeled/ 6,7,8 are actually equivalent to the usual size of 7,8,9 (if I compare them to the Clara Colors Medium Coffin). So, just something to keep in mind if you purchase these - they fit larger nail beds fine, but if you have very small fingers these will likely be too large. ... show more

I'm not a fan of the light. You have to hold the nail on your finger under the light for about 4sec before you can let go and let your hand sit there. The top coat is ok. The primer is 50/50. However the first 4 sets I tried kept coming off me and my daughter. Eventually with a different glue, lamp and trimming the nails 1/3rd an inch they stayed about 4 days and started popping off again. I prefer Beetles etch almond ... show more

First of all, the sizes of the nails were very small I couldn't find any nail that for my thumbs it was like the size 0 was made for very small nails. Secondly, I had a very hard time trying to hold the nail in place with the glue that was given which needed to be put in the UV lamp for it to activate and set. The UV lamp is yhe size of a pulse oximeter like when you go to the doctor and they put the machine on your finger to take your pulse. The last thing I didn't like was the glue itself. After I finally got my pinky nail to start in place long enough for it to set, which I only did my pinky to test it out, the nail only lasted about 3 days before falling off. Honestly I really would like a refund. Not to mention the nails were not square either they were more coffin shaped very narrow at the top and the base was not wide enough for an adult average nail bed also very rounded which is not normal shape of most people's nail beds. ... show more

The tips are great! Very strong! The glue and primer make it easy for the beginner to use! The instructions are simple enough to follow and the light is easy to operate. The only problem is that the glue is thin and there are no clips to hold the tips into place. I had to buy a solid glue to use. Otherwise, well worth the cost! ... show more

Very easy to put on and looks amazing! I won’t be spending $$ at salons anymore!! Some notes: I did not leave my nails in the light for a full minute like instructed since it started to burn a little bit. I just kept each finger for an additional 10 seconds. Also, it was a little confusing at first since they weren’t staying on too well, but after understanding it was user error, you’re supposed to do a base coat of bottle #2 and cure it for around 5 seconds THEN put the nail with more #2, THEN an additional 5 second cure. Unsure as to how these will hold up since I am posting this review as my nails are drying, but having high hopes! They look great :) ... show more
