The size of paper the rest of the world uses -- A-4. I was able to fit a ream of the different papers I use in each of the boxes I ordered three of these bins to hold and protect the different papers i use: US letter, three-hole, and A-4 sizes. I realize us Yanks use a different size office paper than the rest of the world, so to avoid confusion, the manufacturer/seller should state that they DO hold 8.5" X 11" paper, because nothing in the heading or discription says that they specifically US letter size paper. It is so very nice to have my supply of paper protected and organized finally. They will also protect the paper from environmental mosture, which can effect the Laser Printer printing process. Feels sturdier compared to other brands. The size fits well with most spaces. I like how it's shipped with the locking mechanism not attached. I'm not going to try and tell you that these are some super-amazing thing - they are what they are. I will tell you though that they do it well. They are durable, the lids snap on and stay closes as intended, and they stack well without sliding around... which makes them great for organizing. I just bought a second set to further help organize and manage my wife's paints, brushes, markers, and colored pencils. A great value! ... show more
