  • It was great fit for my 1983 F100.
Color: Chrome
The ease of installation was good.

  • Cheap replacement for my 1989 Ford F-250
Color: Chrome
Sure, it's plastic. But it gets the job done at a great value. If your attitude is "I want to get my side-view mirror back in place at the least possible expense" then this is for you. If your attitude is "I want to restore my vintage truck to better-than-new condition" then definitely not - unless, perchance, you just want to dismantle it for parts (like the mirror) to renovate the original. ... show more

  • Made in Taiwan better than Made in China
Color: Chrome
There seems to be two different lines of this product being sold. The box mine came in was a very nice, store shelf quality display box. It says Made in Taiwan. It is as it is supposed to be with a chrome backing and black gasket around the glass. The pivoting neck is smooth yet locks up tight. I have not had any issues with it adjusting itself with closing the door. From reading other reviews there appears to be some customers receiving a similar product but much worse quality and their boxes have been saying Made in China. If yours says Made in China I'd return it. This Taiwanese one is the best you could possible hope for at fourteen dollars. It is not metal like Ford OEM but unless you tap it you won't know, and it's fourteen dollars not 85. ... show more

  • Best one
Color: Chrome
This is the only one that will stay in place due to the adjustment screws that will tighten the mirror. The ones at the local part stores are junk and cost more.

  • These mirrors do not hold adjustment. They wiggle and shake during travel.
Color: Chrome
I installed these mirrors (d/p sides) on a 1990 F150. The factory mirrors were loose and no longer usable. These mirrors were easy to install and they look nice. That is all that is good about them. Once they are adjusted and you drive anywhere at any speed, they jiggle and wiggle and vibrate like crazy. After highway driving at 50-70MPH both sides are totally out of adjustment. I tried every sort of adjustment with them and tightened and re-tightened the hardware all to no avail. Other reviewers have had the same experience. Do not buy these mirrors. They are worthless for what they are intended to do. They are junk. ... show more

  • Automotive exterior replacement mirror
Color: Chrome
Good quality for the price, mounts using OEM mounting holes/brackets. Would buy again.

  • Reasonable for the money
I bought this to replace my mirror after the mount stud broke off at the ball; I'm happy with it, but there are pros and cons... Good: The mounting stud is thicker than the original, so hopefully will be more durable. Size and color match well, and the mirror seems good quality. Bad: Out of the box the ball was froze solid. Not visibly rusted, just stuck. I needed a mirror and didn't want to wait a few more days for returns, so I used some PB-Blaster and carefuly worked it loose then applied some lithium grease. Took about 15 minutes, and had to be careful not to snap it (it was REALLY stuck somehow). Also had to tighen up the three screws on the bottom after a couple weeks on the truck, as they got really loose - I only noticed because the mirror kept dropping as I was driving down the interstate. In-between: It's black plastic, not metal, but that's what you get for this price. The surround is a little flimsy; you can see it flex when you grab it to adjust, but if you're not adjusting your mirrors all the time its not noticable. ... show more

  • A little smaller then factory one
Color: Chrome
It's easy to install had a little trouble getting the old ball joint off but with a little finesse it came off but it's a little smaller then my factory one and the ball joint ain't as tight as I'd hope but it's a mirror and it keeps me from getting a ticket so I can't complain
