This charger works and looks good, the finish is very nice and should last awhile, the blue light is very nice not to bright but not to dim and compliments the same blue color in my Toyota Tacoma. Charge time for an iPhone using a Apple charger cord with no use was about an hour, and 2 hours while using the phone (while charging) one thing I really like is that it’s both USB and USB-C compatible which is very useful. ... show more

    • Cheap travel charger for new vehicles
Keep in mind, many older vehicles do not have enough power or heavy enough wiring to support fast charging of accessories though the cigarette lighter adapter. I got this to keep in my travel bag for rental cars while on the road for work. Many cars do not support actual fast charging so it's nice to have a working solution to keeping my iPad and iPhone topped off while on the road. I haven't run into any issues and have found most of my devices hit 80% charge in under 45 minutes so this solution works well. I won't be sad if I lose it because the price is perfect! ... show more

I decided to order this item because my wife and I have a few upcoming trips, including one internationally. I wasn't sure what to expect when we got into our rental car in New Zealand.
