I don't need volume added, but if it works for you to leave it opened and it looks good I can see that too. You can dress it up or down. Wear with jeans or skirt. I would buy it again! The fabric is great, the fit is nice and so is the workmanship. Just enough shoulder pads, trust me you will not look like a line backer. It is right to make it hang well on your body. If you are inbetween sizes I would say size up. The sleeves are just right length. I think it is a win/win item and the price is so great! I love the style of this jacket but the Shoulder pads are horrendous, and they are sewn between the outer jacket and the lining so you cant even take them out.

I’m about 5’3” 130 lbs, and this hits perfectly at my waist line. Exactly what I was looking for! Goes great with high waisted pants/skirts. Most other blazers that are recommended end up being way too long and boxy looking on me. The material feels sturdy and it has a lining. It did come wrinkled but nothing my steamer can’t fix. I got a small in the black and khaki color, fits about right. Probably size up if you want a looser fit. Definite staples for my capsule wardrobe!
