Everywhere I go people compliment this necklace. Surprisingly, people often ask me if it’s a real artifact. To be clear, it in no way looks authentic, but people say what they say and see what they want to see. I’m just reporting my experience. I’ve ended up wearing this necklace way more than I thought I would. The combination of gold, silver, polish and matte makes it a match for a broad range of other jewelry pieces. I also like how the connection is a part of the ornamentation in front, so I don’t have to fight with moving the closure to the back of the neck during the day. I was a little fearful about purchasing this necklace based on some of the other reviews I read, but I'm glad I took the chance. I love it and constantly receive compliments on it. Maybe it's my lifestyle, but I do have to check it every now and then to make sure the clasp is still together. The length is perfect for my body type and the clothes I wear. I love that I can make it a solid gold necklace or a gold/silver necklace just by turning over the medallion.
