High quality bearings at a low price. I have a set of Old Boy Ceramics for my big cruiser and they roll flawlessly and quick, very much like the more expensive Bones Swiss. So, I bought a set of Old Boy Chromes for my Street board which I retired awhile back but am bringing back. I fitted my new Chromes into Bones 55mm wheels and used them a couple of times at the skate park. They spin really nicely albeit not like the Ceramics, of course. So far, the Chromes are way better than most of the “entry level” bearings out there that I’ve used before, like Bones Reds, Black Panthers and Diamond ABEC 7s (which are horrible as they ceased up and rusted during a short period of time). I’ve been skating for almost 28 years and Old Boy bearings are the best bearings to have come out in a really long time. They’re really well-made and priced right. The Chromes are comparable to Bones Super Reds, which are more than twice the price. They spin and feel the same. I’ll never use any other brand of bearings ever again. Thanks for making such a great product!

So I picked these up as an inexpensive alternative to other bearings, plus they just look cool. Great bearings, been on them for about a week now and no issues. They’re definitely faster than most other companies $10 ABEC 3’s and seem to hold up to abuse just fine. Not longboarding. I ride a regular old skateboard and these guys are doing something right.

I primarily skate park and am big on maintaining speed. I was hesitant to buy these based on the low price but I also wanted to try and find something outside of Reds. So far these work really well. One of the bearings is not as quality as the other bearings so I had to swap that one out, which is probably why they have the low price. Other than that they are smooth and fast. I would buy again.

2 of them just were not quality, not much spin and looked defective. The other 6 were great, I mixed and matched with some other bearings I had and they work great, just maybe a little more quality control?? loved the packaging though :) EDIT: OldBoy took care of me and were 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙮 helpful. Will definitely be shopping with them in the future

Ok so I have the Oldboy ceramics and the Chromes which are on my quad roller skates..now call me crazy but while the Ceramics are DOPE, spin smooth and quiet I have found that the Chromes are actually FASTER ON MY QUADS... I DONT REGRET THE CERAMICS AT ALL BECAUSE THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND ROLL IS AMAZING BUT IN A HEAD TO HEAD COMPETITION CERAMICS ON ONE SET OF SKATES AND chromes on another the chromes WON out on overall Roll/speed but the ceramics were SMOOTHER, QUIET BUT A BIT SLOWER.. EITHER WAY IM VERY PLEASED I WILL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT OLDBOY BECAUSE BOTH SETS ARE AWESOME

Great bearing had to buy these cause I've been wanting to try out a new brand rather than getting my usual of getting bones. They work just as good or maybe even better for cheaper they shipped fast and even got a followup email from the company to make sure that i was satisfied. With all that out of the way old boys are a great product and couldnt have asked for any better for the price old boy has a lifetime customer right here with that I give the product 5 stars!!
