This is a very nice vanity in terms of aesthetics. I do have to say that it took 2+ hours to put together and the reason for it is poor quality parts! The open shelf at the bottom and the top cabinet portion of vanity need to be put together separately, then attached together with pegs and cam screws. I can tell you that you should NOT pick this up once you assemble it from the top ledge because it comes apart! The cam screws are made of a terrible -almost plastic type of light aluminum- or maybe it is plastic with aluminum coating? They feel like plastic. It is awful. We almost dropped it several times trying to move it into the bathroom because it does not stay together. We had to use liquid nails and set items on top of the vanity for pressure for a few days to ensure it would bind together with the glue. The glass doors are another story, again, pretty, but the mullion trim is not wedged in well in the corners, and you have to continuously adjust the screws mounted inside cabinet to get the doors lined up in order to close without scraping. This was so time consuming and aggravating. It's such a shame because this looks so pretty once put together. You will have to make many adjustments, screwing and unscrewing the doors on/off and add strong bonding glue to keep the top part of cabinet from coming apart from the bottom. The cam screws broke off in pieces when it came apart as we were trying to move it. Unfortunately, for something I spent months looking for, I had a terrible experience with this all the way around. Not only did the delivery person leave it in the middle of my driveway which I could not move up my steps, but once I addressed that terrible mess and had them come back to lift it in for me, I unboxed it and surprise surprise, a huge 16 inch scratch on one of the side panels. It's just unreal to me how terribly poor products are made and the carelessness of production and manufacturing from wherever this was made. It was packaged very well, it is very heavy once delivered, you need a dolly or a few people to move it, but the fact that it was packaged well and it came scratched indicates poor quality from the manufacturer, and who is inspecting these products anymore? Clearly no one or this would never have been boxed and shipped out. I am disappointed because it's such a pretty piece, but not well made. Most of it seems sturdy, but it's just not the quality I expect at this price because it's not a large vanity. I would suggest having some real cam screws on hand, someone to help lift and assemble and liquid nails or some adhesive - you will need it anyway to attach the sink. Or find something similar made in USA. ... show more
