I don’t want to take the star off just because I haven’t done my research. My only complaint is that Lifted position is TOO HIGH for my couch. Seems like I’m not the only customer but I didn’t bother to read all the reviews. The height levels are not adjustable. I’ll keep it with the expectation of a new couch in the future. The table it's self is exactly what my wife and I were looking for! Ours arrived in near perfect condition. Unfortunately one of the parts was damaged in shipping. I reached out directly to Christopher Knight Furniture through their website and although it took nearly a month, back and forth with the distributor, the Christopher Knight team kept me updated on their progress and made sure I got the part I needed!     • Did Quality Control Have the Day off?
What seemed to be a nice looking coffee table turned out to have 'cuts and bruises' on several pieces. Among them were scratches down to the bare wood, chipped areas, and a scratch across the top of the table. Fortunate for the supplier, the table was ordered in black, allowing a Sharpie to save the day. It would have been difficult to return it given the size and weight but I have to ask myself, '...where was the quality control person inspecting the pieces prior to being boxed up?'. Sharpie saved the day but I expected better quality. Be aware, and look at the pieces carefully. ... show more

There's nothing to dislike about this table. It very sturdy and so far durable. I've had plates, glasses, coffee mugs and even desk mounts for my hotas clamped to it and not a scratch. It's a little high but that's because I sit in a squishy couch. It's the perfect height for shovelling food in my face. It comes pretty much asembled except for the legs and bottom shelf.     • Great Table. Missing hardware.
Assembly is pretty easy if you get al your parts. This is supposed to ship with an extra part for each of the hardware pieces. Mine was missing 2 bolts leaving me with 1 short to complete assembly. My under shelf is relying on 3 rather than 4 bolts. Not the end of the world but requires a trip to Home Depot. Other than that, this table is pretty great for the price.
