This is an exceptionally built, high quality table that blows away anything in its price point. The table top is real acacia wood that is 2+ inches thick not pressed wood to look like acacia wood. The table top comes with the slats preassembled and is split into two pieces. Assembly is joining the two table top pieces, adding two support braces underneath and then adding the four legs. It is SO EASY to assemble and the final product? Wow! Just wow! It looks expensive! Its sturdy! Its well built and again, the table top itself is 2+ inches thick. The table top surface is smooth. There is no uneveness with the slats. Just a soft and smooth, high quality feel to the surface. It feels elegant and looks amazing! Overall dimensions are as advertised and while marketed as a dining room table, I bought it to use as a desk in my office. For the price and what you get, this table cannot be beat. It is miles ahead of the garbage desks sold at places like staples, officemax, etc that are 2x or 3x the price. Table height is perfect for your standard everyday dining room chairs. Your arms will sit at 90 degrees for eating or typing if that helps. So happy with this purchase! Highly recommend!! ... show more

Beautiful table! The only reason I give it a 4 is because there are small gaps in between the top panels of the table. It’s not a big deal - still a very nice table but would love it with no gaps. Worth the price!

Got the package today. Very heavy. I dragged it into the dining room and removed it from the box. Made sure I had all the parts and read the directions. So, I'm a 73 year old grandma and I put that table together all by myself. Wasn't really hard, if you take your time and read the directions. The legs were the hardest part to attach. If you are doing it with one person, like I did, stand up to attach them. Easier to get it at the correct angle. Then I didn't think I was going to be able to pick it up. I went and got a book. Lifted the table up just enough to slide the book under it. Now I was able to get my hand under the side of the table and just lifted it right up. It isn't as heavy when the weight is spread out. Way heavier in the box. I love the table. I like that rustic look. It does have some separation between the wood, but I was ok with it. I'm very happy with my table. ... show more

Had this table for almost 4 years! We use it in our indoor dining area. Has held up extremely well. Still has a beautiful finish! Oil it with cutting board oil once a year. No cracks and very few blemishes after all this time. A real bargain!

Highly recommend. Natural wood has distinct features and a rich color gradient. Quite nice stylistically. Iron legs are very sturdy with a matte finish, kind of a muted espresso brownish-black. Minimal spacing between the planks, but should be fine to clean. This table is fairly easy to assemble. Simple instructions, and all hardware is packed in clear bags with number labels. Only takes a hex wrench (2 included) and <30 minutes. My cats supervised. Delivered 1 week early, which was an extra bonus. ... show more

I absolutely love this table! I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked it from the perfect packaging. It’s very well made and just beautiful. The wood on this table is stunning! I ordered this table to act as a large desk for my home office. I had been searching for the perfect large desk for a couple years and then I saw this table on Amazon. I figured I’d either leave it as is with natural colors or paint it black. I decided to go for it and paint it black. My office is still a work in progress but after some black semi gloss paint coats on the table and the legs it turned out gorgeous I think. The legs are pretty stable, but could be a tiny bit stronger. Maybe I just need to tighten the screws a bit more. However, I’m extremely pleased! I’m actually thinking of ordering another one of these tables for my patio that’s covered in my backyard. I was concerned about the desert sun ruining it so I just need to research this wood a bit more to see how it handles with the extreme summer desert heat I live in.
