This was actually quite fun to put together, not like most items that drive you crazy having so many pieces that it's like putting a huge puzzle together and sometimes with missing pieces. - NO WORRIES HERE. My wife and I actually had fun doing this together. The box frame pieces were easy to click together. The lights were easy to hook on and my wife's favorite part was dressing the boxes with their covers and putting on the bows just so. Helpful hint: Please note there are 50 lights all together.. not in every box as suggested by the text and reviews. These are smaller boxes than most people have anticipated, therefore, 50 lights in each box would be a box of lights instead what it really is... a box lit up by lights. Let me end by stating that the cloth over the box frame is pretty sheer so when the lights are lit they look very nice from a bit of a distance not close up. There are 8 modes to select from for the lights with a remote and YES...a Timer my favorite. -These are great looking lit up presents and I would definitely recommend them. (Thanks to a reviewer, I was warned about placing them outdoors without putting a rock or something heavy underneath the boxes because if there is some strong wind, they would definitely blow away-Thanks again for the heads-up).

The end result looks nice however these will need to be assembled. It comes with all the items necessary and assembly took about 30 minutes. I did not know all three are connected together by one battery pack so they need to be placed close to each other.

This decoration is more DIY kit than plug 'n play, so be prepared to invest a good amount of time putting the pieces together to construct the boxes, stringing the lights inside the boxes, stretching the covers over the boxes, and affixing the bows and ribbons to the boxes. The instructions are easy to follow, it just takes a while to get everything done. Once constructed, however, these boxes look very festive and Christmas-y. All of the parts fit together nicely, and although the material the box covers and bows are made of is not of the highest quality, they work well in these decorations. The plastic box for the three AA batteries required (but not included) is sturdy and well-constructed. There is a remote control included that has eight different settings for the lights inside the boxes. These colorful & flashy boxes will be a nice addition to the other decorations we will display on a covered landing outside our front door.

These are easy to assemble, and they look great. They are a little smaller than the pictures show. The lights offer eight different modes, making it easy to set the perfect mood for any occasion. Realizing they are small, just as described, allows for versatile placement in the home.

I love these. Super easy assembly, though it doesn't tell you which lights to put in which box, and I did it wrong once. Still, these are so cute, and so easy to assemble, I love them! I also love that after the season, I can take them apart and put them back in a flat-pack box.
