This is a really cute Grinch mat. I would not recommend that it be used outdoor just because it is pretty thin and the backing, although rubberized is also not that thick. It comes packaged rolled up but once I unrolled it, it easily lay flat with no bulges. I can see it becoming quickly saturated in snow or rain and not at all useful for wiping off feet prior to entering the home. I am using mine for right in front of the entry door. In my opinion I don't think you could use this outdoors due to the durability in regard to the elements such as rain, dirt, snow etc. It works great as a decorative in door mat and by keeping it in doors I feel we will have this mat for many years. The design and colors are so nice on this rug .Perfect for a bathroom or kitchen. I would have liked it to be a little thicker but as long as its kept indoors should hold up well .It really dresses up my grinch bathroom so I am very pleased with it .Nice size for your kitchen sink as well,
