This star light display is very tall and bright! There are multiple display options to have a variety in how the lights blink or remain steady. This item is lightweight and though it was packed nicely the strands quickly became tangled. It did not take long for two people to untangle and get it staked into the ground. It was a bit of a pain, but with an item this large I think this should be expected. We bought a smaller version of this last Christmas and love having the larger one to add to our outdoor Christmas decor. The lights are a bright white color as they were out of the multi color by the time I ordered. I think the white lights are more realistic when having a star as large as this one. This item seems durable and will hopefully last a couple seasons. The only real issue is that there aren't any loops at the ends of the strands to thread the stakes through. (Our smaller one has loops.) My husband just tied them on before putting them into the ground. ... show more

I call these the lazy persons decorating! They are fantastic! I'd planned to hang them from a tree, but once we were out there to put them up, I realized it was going to be a big chore. I turned back to the front of my home and said to Hubby, let's run them up the flagpole! It's perfect! Only advice, if they're calling for high winds, take the flag down. If the direction is just right it'll beat up the strings of lights. There neighbors love them too! Added icicle lights around the small front porch, DONE! It's a very nice setup. Looks great when done! Has some nice patterns. Not a 5 star and here's why. They give you little metal stakes to put the tree part into the lawn. Here's the problem! There's no loop or hook to put the stakes in. I ended up using zip ties that have the screw hole and screwing to a board so I can remove them when Xmas is over. All in all it looks great and I would recomend buying it. You just need to be creative getting the strands installed. The remote is basically useless unless you're standing next to it and at that point you might as well just use the plug to get the pattern you want. ... show more

    • Fun and they stop the traffic!
Okay, we don't really have a lot of traffic, just my local neighbors, but they do stop and take a look. We have this high on a palm tree, so the effect is great. With all my other lights, they really make for the icing on the cake. I'm happy for the money spent.

    • Stopped working almost right away
Upon arrival I tested the lights and everything worked as intended. I then setup the lights and plugged them in and they worked still. The next day I turned on the lights and noticed all the red lights seemed dim. Turned them on today and none of the red lights worked now. Returning for refund.

    • One string of The lights are not in sync with the other eight, but it’s still pretty!
The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, the far left string is not in sync with the other 8 strings...if it worked perfectly it is quite a sight to behold, remote control is a little finicky as well, took several tries to get timer to work
