    • No terrible
This is a movie about a woman who is a graduate student in history. She takes a job or internship, it's hard to tell which, at the Plaza Hotel in New York to develop a historical Christmas reception. She comes close to quitting because she can't come up with an idea but suddenly hits upon the idea of highlighting the Christmas tree toppers from each year. Along the way, she befriends a guy who is doing the Christmas decorations from the hotel and the doorman. There is a bit of a mystery involved with a missing tree topper from decades ago. All in all this isn't a terrible Christmas movie. It has a little bit of a unique twist. The characters do a good job with their parts. The setting is interesting. It's somewhat typical Hallmark Christmas fare but interesting enough to be more memorable than the majority of the Christmas movies that seem to be mass-produced copies of each other. ... show more
