The more expensive smart watches do not take blood pressure. It may not be FDA approved, but it's very close! It's definitely close enough to help monitor BP. I've seen hospital equipment be further off! Nothing beats a manual cuff, but this is a great, quick way to monitor on the go! I liked this watch alot but lost it after a month of use. It had all the perks of a name brand fitness watch if not more options to include blood pressure monitor, water reminders & monitor, steps, and more. I could find it when lost with the app, as long as it was charged up.

I chose this one, mainly for the BP monitor and for being waterproof. I haven't used it in the water yet; and the description in the User Manual is completely unrelated to that feature, but I'll definitely edit the review if there's a problem..!
