What a complete dissappointment. My husband enjoys figs so I bought these for him as a gift. He ate half of one and now laughs that I bought him a crappy gift. They're approx. the size of a quarter, they lack flavor and for the price you should receive more than the handful provided. But who would want more of something that tastes so badly? Do yourself a favor and spend $12 at Home Depot this spring buying an actual fig tree. Then melt yourself some chocolate. You'll spend less money and have a far more superior product. The chocolate tastes like wax and is extremely cheap. Gross is the simplest way to describe them. ... show more

I was a little hesitant to order because there are a lot of bad reviews saying the figs were not fresh, etc. In my order, the figs were quite fresh and tasty. The chocolate is not the highest quality, and it was scuffed up, probably from rolling around in the container, but it was satisfactory in combination with the figs. The price is pretty high for a little treat like this, so I won't be able to order often. There doesn't seem to be much competition, and I believe these are imported from Spain. I used to be able to get chocolate-covered figs at Costco near Christmas, I think from California, but they haven't had them the past few years.
