Unlike the last ping ping table cover that I purchased, which only lasted 1.5 years, this cover seem to be a higher quality. With the recent heavy storm in CA, the cover has been subjected to very rain in the last month. The cover was fantastic in keeping my table dry even though it’s stored completely outdoor with no cover. In fact, the water proof quality of this cover is so good, water can actually pool for a long time at the top where the cover may “dip” between the 2 folded table panels. While I only have this cover for only a few months, I strongly suspect the cover will protect my table better and last longer than before. ... show more

The criteria for evaluating a purchase from Amazon is always an utmost standard of integrity. This begins with the seller truth-in-telling, the listing being a thorough and accurate representation of what is received and the manufacturing of the product meeting or exceeding good quality expectations. Interpreting this by assigning "stars" can be misleading. So I either recommend a product or I don't. The item I receive must be protectively shipped arriving in brand new condition, no damages or items being prior returns resold. The manufacturer's packaging should be substantial for handling and storing while intelligently presenting the item in full color photos with dialog expressing the features and benefits and overview of use to guide fair use expectations. Not just content thrown in non-descript generic bags or boxes. The product design should be intuitively clear regarding "how-to" and contain enough English-correct instructions to promise ease of use with all its features. We need to be happy we bought it, and not care whose responsibility it is for whatever failure destroys our shopping experience. I'm not in the mood to meter forgiveness because it was not the seller, it was Amazon, or not Amazon it was the manufacturer, or not the manufacturer it was delivery services. I don't want to manage and decipher the experience, I just want to enjoy it. It is a tall-order and why I only shop Amazon, because they promise to uphold this high-bar of customer satisfaction. I used this cover on my outdoor Stiga PP table. For the most part, it fits great over the top and down the sides. It is way TOO LONG at the bottom (drags on the ground) and not at all like the picture shows (stopping just above the wheels). I had to use the drawstring to try and bunch up as much of the extra material as I could. Even after doing that, it still drapes down below the wheels and kept getting caught when I tried to move the table back against the house. I did attach the buckles at the bottom but they weren't much help other than I know the cover won't blow off if we have a big wind gust. The material is lightweight, not what I would describe as heavy duty, so I cannot vouch for how long it will last until I see how it holds up this winter. But, so far it is waterproof and keeping my table dry in rainy Oregon. ... show more

I would not really call the material "Heavy Duty". It is not a heavy canvas, but more like tent fabric. It should be adequate though. The shape/size is for the older style tables where the bottom of the table is a couple feet above the ground when folded and the two halves stay separated by a foot or 2. Better too big than too small. If you have an outdoor type aluminum table, this could be a good cover for outside. Also, if you have an indoor type table that you will store in a garage or car port this could work. I would not store an indoor type table outdoors with this as the moisture will likely warp your table. ... show more

It's a great cover, that's not up for debate. It fits with adequate room on my JOOMLA professional table. But I live in Utah and the outdoors are extreme in the summers as well as the winters. I would absolutely NOT trust this (or probably any other) cover to keep my table fully protected. If I were only concerned about dust and a few gusty winds outside for a few days, sure; no problem. But this cover is not adequate to keep my table "safe" for extended periods of time. All that being said, it should do a great job keeping my table protected from scuffs, scrapes, and just about anything else indoors when not in use. ... show more
