Meet Our Founder. Cyndi Ramirez is a second generation Colombian-American who grew up watching her mother treat patients in her cosmetology spas in Queens and Manhattan not knowing one day she would reflect on that experience to launch a new self care movement. She began her career in brand & business development at a startup consultancy, allowing herself to dive head first into all facets of entrepreneurship. Several years and a major aha moment later, Cyndi, along with her husband and a team of partners, opened the initial Chillhouse location in 2017 to modernize the spa industry. The team sought out to provide easy, attainably-priced, tried & true services to stressed out New Yorkers in a modern setting. The concept resonated widely and inspired a new way of thinking when it comes to taking care of oneself. Chillhouse has now become the go-to online & physical destination to Find Your Chill. Since inception, the brand has grown from its initial Lower East Side location to a large Soho Flagship and now creates self-care rituals for chill-seekers everywhere through their line of clean beauty and wellness products aimed at maximizing your “me time”. She and her husband, Adam, live in Miami with their children, Stevie and Hendrix. You can catch them hanging at the Chillhouse Flagship, or one of Adam’s few bars in Lower Manhattan. Chillhouse started in 2017 to combat an increasingly stressful world. At the same time, the growing collection of formulated products aims to help celebrate and simplify self- care rituals — bringing the spa day home with you. Chillhouse believes unapologetic self-expression fuels inner chill, but true well-being goes deeper. They look great and last long! Based off other reviews, I expected them to fall off after a few days to a week but I'm on week two and they are going strong, only had to reglue one that I accidentally smacked against a table at the tip, so it popped off. I babied them for the first few days of the event I applied them for but have been using them in all sorts of ways and doing chores since without them even wiggling. Not sure how I'm going to get them off! Still look decent too although starting to get scuffed up from use but initially they looked great, like professional nails. I have smallish nails and found plenty that work on my nails so sizing is good too. ... show more

They are so cute but have some flaws! I’ve used other styles of the chill tips nails and these are definitely smoother than others, making the application process difficult. I had 2 nails pop off within two days of wear but just went ahead and re-glued them on. This is the only set of chill house nails where I have had issues with cracking the nails which is really disappointing. I’ve had my current set on for 7 days - not sure how much longer they will last past that mark. Fun for short wear and you avoid the trip to the salon. ... show more

I really wish these had worked out. My 3 stars that I'm giving are for the design & nail shape. The glue & overall structure of the nails aren't great, ESPECIALLY for the cost. I've been doing my own glue on nails for almost 20 years and can get mine to stay for around 3 weeks, these were breaking off mid nail and popping off within the first 30 mins of use. I prime my nails and do not have this issue with other, less expensive brands. Maybe I just got a old batch of glue, but the nails should not be breaking in pieces either way. ... show more

These were absolutely stunning and I had very high hopes for them. I usually use glamnetics and had recently tried vsalon (which I LOVE BOTH OF THEM) and had seen this brand frequently marketed with my go to brands. Unfortunately the longevity of these left a lot to be desired. They hadn't felt the most sturdy upon application despite the sizing being perfect, but I brushed that off thinking they needed some time for the glue to set. I was wrong 🙃. Upon normal activity a couple days in, these nails cracked and split. As I tried to take the broken nail off, it peeled into a bunch of tiny pieces instead of coming off in the original 2 following the crack. I used the provided glue and am a religious press on nails wearer and have not had issues arise from reputable brands as quickly as these did. So for functionality, these get 0 stars. Two stars because I love the design but the glue is the worst glue I’ve ever used. It doesn’t dry and when it does, pops off quick. I’m not sure what magic other people are experiencing with long lasting but this is not that for me. I can’t even get my thumbs to stay down.
