Meet Our Founder. Cyndi Ramirez is a second generation Colombian-American who grew up watching her mother treat patients in her cosmetology spas in Queens and Manhattan not knowing one day she would reflect on that experience to launch a new self care movement. She began her career in brand & business development at a startup consultancy, allowing herself to dive head first into all facets of entrepreneurship. Several years and a major aha moment later, Cyndi, along with her husband and a team of partners, opened the initial Chillhouse location in 2017 to modernize the spa industry. The team sought out to provide easy, attainably-priced, tried & true services to stressed out New Yorkers in a modern setting. The concept resonated widely and inspired a new way of thinking when it comes to taking care of oneself. Chillhouse has now become the go-to online & physical destination to Find Your Chill. Since inception, the brand has grown from its initial Lower East Side location to a large Soho Flagship and now creates self-care rituals for chill-seekers everywhere through their line of clean beauty and wellness products aimed at maximizing your “me time”. She and her husband, Adam, live in Miami with their children, Stevie and Hendrix. You can catch them hanging at the Chillhouse Flagship, or one of Adam’s few bars in Lower Manhattan. Chillhouse started in 2017 to combat an increasingly stressful world. At the same time, the growing collection of formulated products aims to help celebrate and simplify self- care rituals — bringing the spa day home with you. Chillhouse believes unapologetic self-expression fuels inner chill, but true well-being goes deeper. These are a great range of sizes to fit most fingernails. I have wide thumbs, but the largest nail still almost fits me. I could use an extra mm or so on my dominant hand, but unless you look closely it's really hard to tell. My daughter has also worn these. She has one clubbed thumb, and there's no nail in this pack wide enough for that. She typically just paints that one nail a coordinating color and lives with it. These nails were actually fun for her because she's a math teacher and these have a decidedly geometric look. It doesn't come across so well in the product photos, but the green part is a beautiful metallic, glittery green with great depth. These seem to me to be on par with the popular brand that comes in the pink box, and the price is really similar. They're easy to apply. The glue seems in the middle range as far as strength goes. They'll last about a week without too much trouble if you're not rough with your hands. I love that these are reusable. I'm not sure if I'd say these are on the long end of short, or the short end of long. Everyone has their own idea of what "long" is when it comes to their fingernails. These do make it a bit tough to type, so I guess that's how long they are -- click-on-the-keys-above-when-I'm-trying-to-type long. I recommend this brand and this design. ... show more

I love wearing press on nails because I can NEVER get my nails to look that good without getting a manicure. This way, I can change out my nails as often as I want to create fun new looks! You get 24 almond shaped nails in several different sizes. The nails are definitely longer than I normally keep my nails but they look amazing! Any longer and I probably wouldn't have liked them as much. They are also surprisingly thick and sturdy. Many artificial nails are made of a thin, cheap feeling plastic that break easily. Not these. The Tres Dramatique nails are so pretty! I have never worn any quite like these before. They have an artsy look with part of them being a solid pearly color and the other being a black and white striped design. Just be aware, they aren't matte and definitely have a shiny pearlescent sheen to them. The French but American are also very pretty. I love the bright colors and artsy feel to them! They kind of remind me of tie-dye or Easter eggs, lol. I was quite pleased with the fit. The end result looked very natural and eye catching. I LOVE that this kit comes with nail glue! Most come with those sticky adhesive pads that just never work that well for me. I almost always opt for glue because it's longer lasting and holds up better to my busy lifestyle! Typically, I have to use my own since the kits don't always come with it. Along with the tube of nail glue, you also get a nail file and cuticle stick. The nails themselves are stylish and good quality, and the size variety is great. Unfortunately, the included glue was oily and didn’t set properly—it just sat there and never dried. I had to use glue from another set. Otherwise, these are lovely and bold.

These Chillhouse - Chill Tips, Press on Nails Kit - French But American (Almond) are incredible! I wear a lot of fake nails in order to preserve my natural nails, and these give me the clean, impressive look I still crave. Each nail is carefully painted and look super fancy. The nails themselves are great quality, I like that they are sturdy and durable without being thick and gross looking. There are so many different sizes included so they will fit every nail size. I cannot stress this enough, but they look SO NATURAL. And they are very sturdy. I type and wash dishes all the time and they hold up so well! They last at least two weeks before they start getting loose and then I can just use glue to extend them. The length and shape is very feminine and dainty, while the design is sassy. These are really retro and cute and so fun to apply! I took longer to do it because I filed and I'm a perfectionist. So it took more like 40 minutes to apply them all, but they came out great and actually lasted a long time. I think I had mine a couple weeks at least before one fell off. And they are so cheap!
