    • Not Quite As Expected

When I ordered this basket, I didn't expect it to be so "flimsy". It came folded in a bag and at first I couldn't recognize what it was. When I opened it, I saw that it was this basket. But it was very distorted and I knew it wasn't a "hard" basket. I needed it for my bathroom floor to put supplies in, but yet would look nice. I gave it a try instantly and slowly it morphed into shape after I put some items in and it worked fine...looks nice too. But I don't think it would work to "stand alone" with items inside. (Like fruit, etc.) It's simply not sturdy enough. Nice basket for my purpose, though. Update: It's been almost a week and the basket is still misshapen. Boo!! ... show more

I don't know what I expected, but this basket came folded up inside a flat mailer. It has taken nearly two weeks to re-shape into basket form. Also, the jute (or chemical?) scent is quite overpowering. Otherwise, it's fine. Looks very similar to a basket I bought at Target.

I have had a non-stop collection of bread bags on my counter forever. I visited my daughter recently and loved that she had her collection all contained in one counter top basket. I did a fair amount of online shopping and found this one which has turned out to be the perfect size. Typically we have about four bags of bread at once. In a previous review for a larger size we raved about these baskets. It's these baskets we tried that led us to spend hundreds of dollars in replacing so many poorly made baskets 🧺 and bags. Nice set of storage baskets in light cream color cloth rope. I got a set for myself and realized when they arrived that they would make a great gift, or even a great way to package other gifts, so I ordered another set! I'm glad the leather handles are faux leather and not real leather. And the snap handles can be removed, leaving an opening between rope tiers, as an option.
