Great bassinet, especially for tall beds/c section mamas.
This bassinet was PERFECT for us! When we found out we were pregnant with our second the one thing I knew I wanted to replace from our first baby was the bassinet. We have a fairly tall bed and our first bassinet was simple, nothing fancy and short compared to our bed - I didn’t think I needed anything extravagant for a place they will only sleep in for a few months. Well, I ended up having a c section and for the first few weeks I had to have my husband come over and pick up our baby out of the bassinet every time he needed to be fed because I could not bend over and lift him up myself because our original bassinet was so much lower than the bed. This bassinet was one of the very few on the market that was tall enough to be the same height as our bed and it made a world of a difference with our second. I also love that it has wheels! It made it easy to move from one side of the bed to the other or to roll into the bathroom for a safe place for her to lay while I shower/get ready. Our baby is now sleeping soundly in her crib but we have moved this convertible bassinet to the basement to use as a changing table. The bassinet is also very sturdy. We have a toddler who loved to come see the baby every morning and he would hang on the side to peer over to look at her and the bassinet never budged. Although pricy, I believe we have already got our moneys worth out of this product and i am VERY happy with the purchase. The ONLY negative was that the vibrating feature wasn’t very strong and ran out of batteries fairly quickly.

Convenient, Easy to Assemble, and Worry-Free Bedtime Sleeper
I was thoroughly pleased receiving this product!! I not only got it in a timely manner but the quality of the product is outstanding. The product itself was extremely easy to install, so if you don't have anyone else to help you or are worried about tools required, it is quite simple. The legs and bassinet itself click into one another and other than a small screwdriver for the sound/vibration machine, there are no other tools you need. The wheels and weight of the product are light, which very easy to move around on both carpet and wood/harder type flooring. I was worried about the weight because I have seen bassinets that are not easy to maneuver, but I feel comfortable moving the bassinet around with/without baby. In addition to movement, the product also has the ability to lock into place, which is a necessary feature because of how easy it is to move around. You can lock the wheels of the bassinet but also the basket itself so it doesn't accidentally get pushed down to the smaller setting. It does have two settings, for changing and sleeping, and both are easy to switch back and forth from. I will say if you are keeping the bassinet upstairs or downstairs make sure you install it in that location only because the entire system as a whole is harder to move up and down the stairs unless you take it apart. Taking it apart and back together is simple, but just for ease I would install it where you want to use it. As for the bedding itself, the pad is very comfortable and firm. You don't have to worry about the fabric coming up or the pad being indented after a few uses. On the flip side of the soft pad itself is the changing pad, which is made from a soft, non-absorbent material so that when residue comes out of the diaper accidentally, it is a simple and easy cleanup. If you did want to wash the fabric to the bassinet, it is simple to zip off and wash. The last feature added is the vibration, sound, and light machine. You can adjust the intensity level of the sound and the light is a soft glow for the baby. You have the option of taking it on and off the bassinet as it just slides into the edge. Since it does slide on the edge, you can also opt to take it off entirely or move it to another location if you prefer it not centered. Overall, this is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bassinet that is easy to move and convenient for mothers! If you are anxious like me, this product is safe with all of it's locking features and you can easily see the baby through the breathable mesh making it such a great product! Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend
I did so much research on bassinets and had a very specific high height requirement due to our tall bed! My choice was between this one and the Halo, which 2 of my siblings used for their babies. They said the Halo would lean after a while, and with the rave reviews for the Chicco, we decided on this one. We have been using it for almost 3 months with no complaints! It is perfect for bedside for a tall bed and is easily height adjustable , I can see her through the mesh, it wheels around easily on our vinyl plank floors so I or grandma can take care of her in the living room or even wheel her all the way to the nursery which was really helpful having a heavy baby post C section, the hand break is a great safety feature. I don’t use it for a changing station but can see how that might be helpful. We use the light on the machine to check the diaper stripe at night and she has just started to like listening to the music on it. She doesn’t like the vibrate feature but maybe she will in the future! Overall very thankful for this bassinet!

Excellent product! Way to go Chicco!
My wife got this for our third baby due in July. She wanted something close to her while she slept (scheduled csection so will be recovering from surgery) but something that could roll easily away if she needed to get out of bed. This is perfect. She was thrilled when she saw it out of box. It is much larger than expected. And very sturdy, but the cushion seems soft and comfortable (and still flat/firm enough to be safe for a newborn). It raises to different height levels, I am surprised at how high this raises. We shouldn’t have an issue bringing it up next to our bed. And the best part there is a quiet easy to use lock Handle that unlocks and locks the wheels. It glides easily on our carpet in our bedroom. It fits through doorways, and every part is removable and washable in the washing machine. Baby is safe in there until 20 lbs and/or can sit up, so we are hoping to get a lot of use out of it, especially those first few months. Only complaint is we could not order directly from chicco website and use chicco $50 coupon, as they were out of stock. But this is a chicco stocking issue, not worth removing a star. The product is well worth the money. We are very happy with our purchase and hope our baby will find it easy to sleep in as well!

Overall great bassinet - not worth extra for vibration
As a first time mom, there were a few things that I was looking for in a bassinet. Number 1 was obviously safety/sturdiness, which when looking in stores I didn’t really see with the displays. I felt most were very wobbly, especially ones that were height adjustable and had the ability to lower the sides. That is not the case with this one, it is very solid! Another function I was looking for was the ability to have it bed side. The height adjustments are great! It goes quite high, which makes it easy to slide to the bed AND change diapers while standing up and not killing your back (which was function #3 I wanted) Only complaint I have is the functionality of the attachment that plays music, has a light and vibrates. The vibration isn’t really worth the extra cost of this version of the bassinet.

Best bassinet EVER. Don’t waste your time on a halo bassinet! C section mamas this is for you!
Look at the video to see how well made this bassinet is. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for sturdiness is because when the bassinet is at its highest point (34 inches from floor to bottom of bassinet mattress) it’s SLIGHTLY wobbly. Im having a scheduled c section and needed a bassinet that I could move easily and also fit on top of my high 30inch mattress/bed. I ordered the HALO bassinet TWICE and both times it was defective. The screw holes didn’t match up properly and the fabric was backwards making it impossible to put together. On top of that my husband developed a rash trying to set it up. We tried calling customer service and they were awful. I’m writing this review to help other parents out there (especially c section mamas) with high beds to find the best bassinet. This is it. Definitely worth the investment. Strong, sturdy, easy to maneuver, easy to clean (fabric comes off for easy cleaning) vibrates, plays music, and has a small night light. We live in an extremely small place and it’s easy to move around tight corners and room to room. Hope this helps!

Good quality, uncomfortable mattress pad
Color: Oat
Style: Close to You
While my husband and I love this bassinet, our baby does not and her opinion is what’s most important. The wheels are wonderful, it’s really easy to move from room to room and to lock/unlock as needed. The pad it comes with would be fine to use this as a changing station but our baby did not appreciate it. It’s covered in plastic and has extremely little cushioning. The bassinet also sits pretty tall. This is great if you are a taller person but we ended up getting a second bassinet what can go down to our bed level for safer co sleeping. If my little one would take naps in this it would be great but we can usually only lay her in this for 15 minutes or so before she starts to get upset. If your baby doesn’t mind a super firm surface this thing is great to wheel around places!

Great option for tall beds and maneuverability
I have been loving this bassinet. I needed something that could be as high as my bed (32"). It is so nice to have baby right next to me in a safe space. The mesh allows me to check on the baby easily and I am able to easily lift my arm over the side to give the pacifier or pat baby. Everything seems really sturdy although there is a slight wobble at the tallest setting it does not worry me. I like that I can move this to another area if I want without having to pick it up (medium pile carpet and tile). The ability to double as a changing pad is always a pleasant perk I did not think I would use but at the tallest setting it is perfect for my 5'4" to stand at with 0 back strain. I wish the vibrations/light/sound had an option to remain on all the time but the light is still especially handy for night nursing without waking me or baby up too much. I found it to be level length wise and only slightly unlevel width wise. My baby sometimes ends up scooted towards the top and side but that is typically after baby has been wiggling around a bit. Overall I really like this bassinet, though I still cringe a bit at the price.
