The weight and softness make it a 9 month favorite. I waited a fullnyear before rating to give a valuable opinion. As other reviewers have said, the color is very red and not at all like the burgundy the image suggests. After a year of washes it has started to fray and deteriorate but its held together pretty good for an Amazon purchase. We use a feather comforter for winter months but the other 9-10months we were very pleased with this one. ... show more

I’m going to start out first by saying this comforter does not look like the listing. The stripes fall in drastically different spots and the colors are not comparable. The red in the listing looks dark or burgundy and in real life, it is RED. Like BRIGHT red. Fortunately, I love red and it looks great with the curtains I bought. With that expectation set, this comforter is SO soft and not too hot, which is great as my partner is an extremely warm sleeper. I love it. ... show more

It arrived 2 days ago and so far I’m loving it. I have no issue with polyester (blanket, pillows, and sheets are 100% polyester.) I saw another comment after my purchase saying they were worried it would be extremely hot to sleep in, but I’m had no issues so far. In fact, it maintains a comfortable temperature. The blanket isn’t all long and fluffy as it is in the photos, but it’s still decently big and fluffy. Also, when they show the individual throw pillows, they don’t include the square one you can see in the entire bed set photo as a deprecate photo, BUT the pillow itself was included. (The pillow I’m talking about is in the photo I included with the light gray outline and dark gray interior) So far I’m not having any issues with stitching but I’ll update if I do. *the sheets, blanket, and pillows are all the same grey color. The sheets are not a lighter grey like it is in the photo. Personally, not an issue, but it’s good to know. *One of the throw pillows (the one that looks kind of like a #) in the picture is way darker in the photo than it is in person. The pillow is the same color as the blankets and sheets. *4 pillow cases total and 3 throw pillows. 1 of those elastic bed sheets, a sheet, and a comforter. ... show more
