I got these because I was curious to try out some early schooling material. I removed a star because I don't believe the age range is consistent and some items would be used in kindergarten while others are grade 1 as stated on the store page. It's possible this is simply my preference, but the quality is good.

These workbooks are really awesome for my first grader! They cover different learning areas like drawing, math, writing, and other subjects all in one set. I love how cute the artwork is—it keeps my child interested and makes the pages feel less like schoolwork. The content is also very age appropriate and matches well with what kids are learning in first grade. It's a great way to bridge kindergarten skills into first grade or just to reinforce what they're already learning. My child actually asks to work in these, which says a lot! Highly recommend for extra practice at home!

These workbooks are fantastic! Many of the lessons featured in them are things that my Kindergartener is learning now. These workbooks will be very helpful over the summer for reinforcement so that she doesn't forget the things that she's learned, especially math and writing. The pages are bright, vibrant and easy to read. The workbooks are skinny and can be easily packed in a backpack for trips. I do wish that these were maybe spiral bound so that they would be easier to write in. Regardless, I love these for my daughter!

I ordered this workbook set for my 6 year old, but while flipping through the pages, I feel that the difficulty of the material may be better suited for my 4 year old child. The booklets themselves soft cover and are of decent quality to write on. There is a fair amount of material inside to keep them occupied and practicing. The material is fun and engaging to my little one.

These are good workbooks as supplemental materials. I agree with other reviews that this is more for kindergarten, not 1st grade. Luckily my daughter is in kindergarten so that works out well. A good amount of this is still review for her. The writing workbook is pretty good, I like that it shows the arrows for the correct way to write the letters. At the bottom of each page, it has the child write sent about the word at the top of the page, however the child won't have started practicing writing most of the letters. It would be better if this was separated out and put in a section after the letter practice. For the drawing book, most of it is good. For the coloring section it's not very realistic for kids this age. My daughter doesn't have 4 different shades of gray to complete the racoon as shown. The connect the dots are pretty basic and go only to number 20. The skills book starts out strong with telling time and learning about money but the color and shapes recognition are more preschool or kindergarten level. The math book is good with counting, addition and subtraction. Overall for the price, I think there are better options especially if you have a first grader.

Pretty fund and simple beginner exercise for kids, I would say this is best suited for 3-4 years old not 6-7 years old. So rating dropped a star for the incorrect age range -- however the quality of the booklets, colors and print are top notched, no fades, hard papers. Get it for your toddler if the price is right.
