I bought this identical item (Chezmoi Collection Berlin 4pc Pinch Pintuck Pleated Comforter Set Queen, Gray Item number:272501326198) from eBay in 2017 and I loved it so much, I bought a second one 2 months later. to have a backup available. To me, it looks great and the weight is perfect because it is light as air and not too hot in the summer, but somehow keeps me perfectly toasty during northeastern Ohio winters. Perfect, perfect. Well, I finally reached the point of wanting to replace the 2nd one I had purchased and went on the hunt and was super surprised but very pleased to find the seemingly identical product on Amazon. However, as soon as I opened it, I thought they accidentally sent the black instead of the gray I had ordered. A review of my order and the packaging said what they shipped WAS gray but it is a radically different color than the 2017 version. This photo doesn't really illustrate the difference because in person the new one looks far more of a blueish black than the photo shows. However, you can see that the original was more of a true gray while this one is, I suppose, some sort of attempt at charcoal. Sadly, the charcoal doesn't really work for me, particularly with the strong blue undertone. Still seems like the same quality and weight, just be aware of the radical color change. ... show more
