I wish to impart a key fact to readers. Do NOT expect ANY satin sheets to be as durable as cotton sheets. You will buy satin sheets for the look and the feeling and they must be treated as disposible. They will fray they will catch and all will get fuzzy where your feet rub. A few months or so and this will happen with any satin sheets. If you dont like that it's simply too bad. Buy cotton sheets in that case. Those who really know satin will just buy more. I have used satin sheets over 20 years and this is fact. That said.. these sheets are very shiny which I like. The smoothness I rate as pretty good but not the best I've seen. Durablity I rate good for satin. When your sheets catch or fuzz buy more or go back to cotton. That is simply how it is. :) ... show more

These sheets are nice and soft right out of the package. They did have some loose threads, but this does not seem to affect their durability. They are a beautiful deep purple. They are not as thick as others, but living in Florida, it's nice to have a lighter weight sheet set for the summer. What I liked most is the top sheet. One side is shiny satiny smooth and soft and the reverse side, although not as shiny, is soft as well. Usually on satin sheets the other side is rough, so rough I can't stand feeling it against my skin. Not on these sheets, I can sleep with it either way and it feels great! I was so impressed I bought a second set. Update: These sheets are still fabulous and hold up well after several washings with absolutely no pilling (you know those annoying rough little balls of fluff that stick to some fabrics after a lot of wear and tear)! I always wash in cold water and either line dry or tumble dry on LOW heat. I always wash separately from other clothing (only satin bedding, pillow cases of similar color). ... show more

I ordered these for no apparent reason other than being tired of spending more money for pretty crappy sheets at Wal-Mart. I had pretty low expectations for $20 sheets, but these have honestly been worth every cent of it. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the lack of colors for a full size mattress, but if you have a queen size, you're set. If they had more colors, I would certainly be buying more from them. I have sent the pillowcases through the wash more than the sheets since I had to temporarily relocate, and if the sheets are as durable as the pillowcases, then these are pretty tough as long as you follow the basic wash instructions. There has been a tiny bit of fuzz forming on the pillowcases after months of use, but I'm 95% certain that it was more of the crappy headboard I had rather than anything relating to the quality of the material. If they had more colors, I would probably never buy any other sheets. These are great, especially for what they cost. ... show more

Im seriously so obsessed with the quality of the sheets! I love silk / satin! These keep you cool while you are sleeeping and helps prevent as bad bedhead. If you are anything like me and toss and turn a million times this will keep you have and comfy without wondering how bad your hair will look in the morning. I've been wanting satin sheets for a long as I can remember. I know some people find them tacky but I like how they feel and the added value for the pillows (hair wise). So when I saw this set for such a great price I had to get it! First time I used these I had the fitted and the flat sheet together but I couldn't keep the flat sheets from sliding to the edge of the bed over night so the second time I just use the fitted sheets and regular comforter combo. I'm waiting for other colors to be available in order to order more. I haven't put these in the dryer yet so I don't know how they'll do in low heat. Truthfully at the price these sell I am not expecting longevity but if it lasts even a year a think this is a winner! ... show more

The shiny bit is ok, but personally I don't like it too much. I was *hoping* this would be a little more breathable. Kinda just start sweating on it a bit after laying there. It is also slick beyond all slick. I find myself having to put the covers all back on the bed regularly because of the slickness. But I mean.... as a garbage shoot from a second story window? I think these would do the trick. I don't have a second level to test, but if you were curious.... Can't really recommend. Reviews were decent so I had some hopes. ... show more

These sheets are great for the price! Feels silky smooth and cold. I love that I’m not sweating every night! It’s perfect! And they look nice too. No issues with rips or anything! Edit- I washed them again and they feel awful. Little lint balls all over and very itchy. If you want your sheets for 2 weeks then I’d consider getting these.. ... show more
