I specifically searched for this candle + scent after buying it a couple times from Target a couple years back. I’m so obsessed with this scent it’s just straight magical. It is strong and long lasting so it’ll fill up ur whole house w gorgeousness or it’ll cover up odors really well. I could see Some pple thinking it to be too overwhelming or strong as it IS pretty potent after being lit 15min or so but I still can’t get enuf of it. The description of the scent lists rose in it and just FYI I absolutely cannot stand the artificial “rose” smell (real roses smell great- not the scent of) -legit hate it with a passion- but this does not smell like that fake rose smell whatsoever. If I would’ve read the description before smelling it in the store I would’ve missed out on this incredible candle. It’s a little pricey on here however- I remember it being closer to maybe $12-14 in Target stores, if I remember correctly? ... show more

I really like the rose water scent of this candle, and I'm pretty fussy about scents. And I also like the frosted glass container and cover. But because they're owned by Yankee candle, of course they have terrible wicks. Shortly after you light it the flame is short, stubby and not nice looking. Also it develops big huge mushrooms. Other candles I have, have much better more attractive flames. All Yankees are like this. If all you want it for is scent then maybe you won't be bothered by this. But it drives me crazy, and maybe 10 or more years ago Yankee had better flames. I don't even consider buying their tea lights anymore. ... show more

This is a well made candle and I can see why the brand is popular. The fragrance is just ok though. On its own, it's a faint and pleasant smell, but as someone who loves roses and rose candles, it doesn't not smell much like roses. I honestly don't know which candles are the most "naturally" fragranced but this is far from the best smelling rose candle I've had.
