    • I loved these paintings in the Amazon ad
I loved the pictures when I initially saw them. I’ve painted one, and am working on the second. The first was easy to paint, and I enjoyed it immensely. The second one, the waterwheel house, is very different. The colors are not the same as advertised on the website. I’m still ok with that. My frustration with this particular picture is that most of the paint pots in this kit are only half full, or less- there were significant air bubbles apparently during the filling process. Also it is difficult finding the number to paint in a few of the spaces. I’ve tried contacting the seller but did not get a response yet. I will update once I hear from them. I’ve painted about 30 kits from Amazon, so have spent many hours painting these kits, and I have comparisons to these paintings. ... show more

    • Far too many deficiencies
While seeming a great value there are too too many drawbacks to recommend (much less to make an enjoyable painting experience). 1) Panels do NOT fit a standard 16 X 20 frame for mounting- they are about 1/2" too narrow. 2) Paint color is NOT accurate and thus finished 'art' is odd and unnatural looking. 3) The 'definition' of the finished art looks more Impressionistic and untidy than realistic. Look elsewhere; I wish I had. ... show more

So far, I have painted 2 of the 4. One turned out beautifully. The other not so good. I believe the wrong acrylic paints identifed by numbers were included in the set for this picture. Too much orange, yellow, pink colors in the picture.

These four PBN’s were crisp, perfectly sized, came rolled, and the paints were fresh with great consistency. The final pictures came out fabulous. One of the pictures-the color was slightly off, but it was still a great picture. There was not a huge margin leftover for possible framing. It came complete with mapping and brushes, small picture and canvas. I enjoyed doing each one. There was a lot of detail in them, but easy enough to see the numbers. This kit is shipped with the canvases rolled nicely= no folds or creases to iron out! The paint quality is excellent. The finished product isn't quite as sharp focally as other kits but with the paint and canvas quality, it is well with the price. The included brushes are a slightly higher quality than what usually comes in paint by number kits. Having said that though, the included brushes are slightly larger than what I prefer to do these projects with. I simply used left over brushes from previously our hased paint by number kits. ... show more
