The spout on mine was very rough. You'd think the manufacturer would smooth and polish parts that come in contacts with your lips. I used some fine finishing paper (for auto finishes) and smoothed out all the rough spots. Otherwise this is an okay cap.

Got this because it has a cap that goes over where you sip out of. I work in a place that has things in the air. My hydro cell came with 2 lids, one a straw that the part you sip out is open to air particles. The other was a lid that you have to take off to drink. It leaves a much wider mouth opening. With that kid sometimes I would tip my hydro cell and the ice would come out. This lid is great because it has a smaller tip to drink out of that has a cap that protects the drinking area from air particles. And if I tip it enough when the ice comes down it does not get out. And has a handle to carry it with. Plus my hydro cell is a orange to redish color so I got the orange band one and it blends great with my bottle. ... show more
