I ordered a set of 8x10 frames and was so impressed that I ordered this multi-sized set. Upon opening the box, you’re going to find that each frame is individually wrapped in a protective padded sleeve. That’s a true sign of product care and pride, in my opinion. Then you see a set of mounting hardware individually bagged. With the hardware is a large, easy to read instruction sheet with colored pictures to assist you in how to best hang your frames. When you inspect the frames, you’ll find that they are solid wood, not mdf. They are well constructed—all the corners are beautifully matched; the wood is sanded smooth; and the paint is consistent. Each frame has 2 hooks for mounting. You can adjust them to configure your frames for landscape or portrait. I was skeptical to discover that there is no glass, but a more flexible material. I love it! Firstly, it’s shatter-proof. Secondly, it’s very lightweight—making hanging or putting on a shelf less stressful. Lastly, there is a protective covering to peel od on both sides—no scratches and no cleaning. That’s right you don’t have to clean the glass before you use it. I am so thrilled with the quality of this product and its ease of use. It’s not every day that your excited by simple innovation for a product that you thought was timeless. But, honestly, if you’re about to invest the time in displaying some art or portraits and stressing about the chore of hanging them, you’ll be thankful you’ve got a quality frame that is lightweight and easy to mount on your wall. ... show more

    • There is no glass
When I first opened my package, I was pretty disappointed - I didn't realize these frames didn't come with glass, but came with plastic, which explained the price. But after assembling one with a picture behind the plastic, I was pleasantly surprised. I should, however, qualify how I mean pleasantly surprised - I was pleasantly surprised enough to keep and use the frames, but probably not pleasantly surprised enough to buy the product again, and definitely not gift them. I just think plastic instead of glass is weird, but that could just be because it's different and I'm not used to the idea. Maybe I'll get used to it once I fill them all and hang the on the wall in a lovely collage. If plastic doesn't bother you, go for it. You'll be pleasantly surprised! ... show more

Nice frames I Bought these frames for some family pictures the 5x7 were a little smaller but made it work. It is not glass its a plastic cover.

Super solid and well made frames. Easy to remove back and replace with Art. Cane even add a mat, there is plenty of room for those too. Fastens around in four places and has two sturdy wall hooks build in. Comes with push pin hooks too! Highly Recommend!
